Surely the "Live-updates" will be implemented next week though, and they can't function without the transfers?

I am used to be disappointed by Konami, but it seems very harsh to moan about transfers before the game is even released when there are so many great additions this year.

Do live updates work in ML? Because that's the main reason I want updated squads soon, because I'd like to start an ML asap.

I know it's a bit harsh to moan about transfers at this stage, but the fact that it looks like (on early evidence) they haven't made ANY changes since the January update, doesn't bode well.

I do agree that it is a poor initial indication from Konami, especially because the FIFA fans trying it out will be massively put-off by such out-dated squads.

Not sure even they will work in ML sadly. Also just made a thread on the ML forum if you want to help.

Exactly. It's a point I've made before - if disillusioned Fifa players pick up a copy of PES, and the transfers are hideously out of date, there's a good chance they'll go back to Fifa for that reason alone. It's a fundamental part of the game IMO, and shouldn't be an afterthought.

Well, it's getting good reviews, an 86 on Metacritic as I type this post. I notice the trophy/achievement list is the same as last year. That's just so fucking lazy. Give us some interesting trophies to earn, like scoring a 30yard bicycle kick with Emile Heskey or whatever!

That would surely be a special Platinum Trophy

Do you know of anyone that would make the Wrexham kits for me? They're really basic, but would add so much depth to the game personally.

Don't think anyone is taking requests at the moment, but I'm sure once they have all got the major leagues done they will be open to requests.

Does that mean that there won't be the option of using other people's option files? This would be a desaster because I don't have the time for the upload of kit by kit and updating/creating all the players that are missing

There isn't any option file option. Only an import images option. When you import kits images you still have to go into the menu and check the names and number colors as the game sometimes auto match with the color of the jerseys.

Since they have added image import into the PS4, is there not a way for Konami to add EDIT file import into the game that will overwrite the EDIT file? To me, if they can figure out how to implement this feature, then would solve the non-sharing PS4's limits and people could still share the EDIT DATA file which is the key to the OF.

amazing this console cannot work like this. when i think back to the idea that the ps4 (and xbone) couldn't even pull data from USB drives at first release is just wild to me in this era.

One option i saw online, and maybe the only one is that you can share PS4 profiles and then share that edit file. I saw someone selling the files and a share of their ps4 profile online, which is hilarious (i won't say the name but we all would know it)

It's not on Konami, but it's on Sony to allow them to install the feature. Importing into the game file is allowed as it sits in the game file on the Hard Drive. File sharing has more to do with users data which could be a problem.

I'm not talking about the PS3 method of OF install. Since Sony will not allow file share the PS3 way, I'm talking about Konami coding it so that users can upload an EDIT file through the game silmilar to uploading the kit images. Basically a work around since the PS4 doesn't allow shared files through the consoles like PS3. The game already creates a Backup EDIT file so makes me wonder if that feature could not be coded with uploaded EDIT file in-game.

But that back up file is locked within your user profile and any work around could breach the Sony os. You may download a option file with a bad code or virus with in and mess your whole profile up.

But what if Konami coded it in away that you were able to share a EDIT file. Not your typical EDIT file but an in-game EDIT file that could be shared.

So you have the typical base EDIT file tied to the system as is now.

Then you have an additional EDIT_Cust (Custom) that is in-game and shareable.

If other games have work arounds, surely Konami can implement a workaround.

It would be so great if I could use an edit file like in the good old PS3 times. If not, I don't know what to do. Looks like editing editing editing...
I mean, the work by some people on the site is awesome, e.g. the MACE Classic option file on PS3. Without this option, PES is not the same.

Btw.: Will it still be possible to embed "fans" with MP3's?

Someone reminded him he said this "Option file sharing for PS4 looks all good so far (like PS3). Will be testing in the coming weeks and will update. Time to party #PES2016"

And that he never said anything more about it making it seem like OF sharing was in the game and that he probably did it for sales because it is not in the game.

As far as I can tell then option file sharing is a no- go on PS4 at least. It will be importing kit images files one by one, which I'll take happily after last year.

I've not read much about live updates. What are the chances of a day one patch for transfers? Previous years suggest this will take weeks, unless anyone has read anything different...?
