I regrettably believe it will still be a max number of 5. However, should be less of an issue if they can be quickly completed on the new calender.
All other news should be good.
Also just noticed... Albania and Iceland looked like new national teams?

If they add Iceland I'll be a very happy man.
From that link above it seems that this year we'll have fewer NTs licensed than in previous years. Adding that to no new leagues and a huge loss in other european teams, where is the so called "improvement in licenses"?

NT licenses have slowly decreased, makes the EURO 2016 license seem strange.
HOWEVER, just read over the announcement...
-34 European Teams (Albania + Iceland added)
-14 African Teams (Burkina Faso and Guinea appear, are they new aswell?

It's in FM15 too where it's been a rather important edition. Just because FIFA players get "excited" about it doesn't mean PES shouldn't do something similar.

I think it would be a great adition. Being able to handle a day like... a real day, it just adds more to the experience.
Albania & Iceland have indeed been added. But, Konami being Konami have removed Finland & Montenegro...
The 20 Championship clubs is indeed a typo. All 24 are present.

I was hoping for the Stade de France to be back in PES since they have Euro 2016, France National team, and Ligue 1 & 2 fully licensed.

As far as I can see, no transfers have been applied, but some of the attributes/OVR are different. Just compare the squads to the 2015 versions, the ones I've checked have been identical.

I'm sure transfers will be more updated than the leaked videos on release, but they won't be fully complete (maybe early August). Hopefully Konami pick up their game & get the update out by the end of the month (I am however afraid that they will think live updates for online are enough & we will still be waiting until October/November)
Personally I want to see what they have done with player stats, for PES 2015 I was part of the team that created stats, team info, etc for the game, but this year I didn't have time. Last year I was disappointed with how badly this was implemented as nothing was checked. This led to players that had previously being in the game having default stats for new things that had been added since they were last in the game. As an example look at this http://pesdb.net/pes2015/?goalkeeping=80-80 These stats were just laziness by people being paid to update the database (obviously you can ignore some of the GK's in that list, but not all).
I will also like to see if any players I provided info for PES 2015 that haven't changed for PES 2016 receives any credit, not for personal glory, but more just to see if the same slack approach has been taken this year.
