So big news about future PES 2017 game!

Lot of improvements, such as revamped graphics (Player models, lighting, crowds, pitch and stadiums), improved ball control/touches, hundreds of new animations added, improved goalkeepers, improved ADAPTIVE AI (which will learn how you play and adapt to your playing style) and lots of other things such as Precise Pass, Total Team Control, Corner Strategies and Advanced Instructions. Sounds cool! The slogan this time will be: #CONTROLREALITY
Also Adam Bhatti says in his Twitter that game modes will have huge changes (hopefully good changes) and in the next 7 days they will reveal more!

Hopefully the gameplay improvements will be decent enough - better off the ball player movement, players actually moving where you tell them to etc etc. Also, the game needs an English League 3, or the chances of me buying it are severely diminished. :folarm: :crymore:

Where have I heard that before...? Oh right, PES2011. And 2012. And 2013. And...

I sure as hell expect better AI tactics, PES2016 has two: long balls or Barcelona.

Corner Strategies and Advanced Instructions.

Praise the lord!

I'm sorry but... :lmao:

The chances of that happening are slim to none.

Well I thought they'd never add the Championship (aka English League 2), so you never know. I just don't want to have to resort to buying Fifa if I want to play a Bolton career mode.
Come on, Konami. I'm an admin on a PES forum, that must mean something, surely? :folarm:

I think that goalkeepers after many updates are fairly decent in PES 2016, but the shots are too accurate, especially the curly lower corner shots. I believe they will be better.

Why don't you just create them in Other European Teams (one of those leagues that will never disappear)? I know I would, if that mean't I could leave FIFA in the store shelf.

Or maybe edit them in place of some useless team in the Championship (Newcastle, Villa, Cardiff, you know).

They are utter shit with low shots, even if they go right by their side. Also, way too slow to react, and then move too fast. Like a driver that's too slow to notice the danger in front of him but the car has good enough brakes to prevent the accident. Feels out of balance.

I don't want fake Bolton, I want real Bolton. Or rather real Middlebrook..... you know what I mean.

Anyway, the English "2nd division" wasn't even in PES until Bolton got relegated from the PL, who's to say the same won't happen for the "3rd division". Just sayin... ;)

I don't really agree with you, i think they are decent but the shots are too fast and accurate.. If a shot goes out, it goes usually goes very close to the goal. Goalies are also an improvement over PES 2015 goalies who couldn't do a single "double-save" and were slower and did more stupid decisions. Although goalies always have something to fix, I'd rather tone down the shot power and tone down the shot accuracy than having overpowered goalkeepers who save everything.

It does sound like an improvement on paper, however, we'll see closer to the time as the PES 2016 demo was quick, fluid and the turning was great. Keepers made some amazing saves too. The original game came out and things turned a little bit sour, for me anyway. Still play the game from time to time but the keepers are non existent really.

Big hopes for this year as Konami are working solely on PES, and it's also had a year to see the pros and cons of the collision system. Fingers crossed lads!

Agree, 2016 borders on unplayable for me. It fixed a lot of the problems in 2015 but created even more.

Also I think the Fox engine has created more problems than it's worth.

PES2012/13 were my favourite versions and only in need of slight (on pitch) improvements

Along came PES2014 with the new engine and with it came stodginess, players labouring, sticking in the turf, and reacting in slow motion.

PES2015 was marginally better and '16 is about the same.

People will argue they are less arcadey but the fluidity and fun factor has gone.

I think Fox Engine was a huge improvement from the 12/13 Engine. Players are more life like, graphics are much better and unlike you, I think PES 16 compared to PES 15 is a huge improvement, more fluid and realistic looking. Can't wait for PES 17!

My God, they finally included player pics in the gameplan.

After reading the first two link posted above I must admit I'm hyped... And I don't usually get hyped.

One problem still: the cannon shorts. Only Konami could think having shorts with twice the radius of the player's legs is acceptable.

Edit: OH WHAT A DAY, WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY!

"We've also brought in new stats to differentiate between strength, like [Olivier] Giroud, or body balance, like [Mesut] Ozil"

:excited: (on a side note, I do feel like a dumb iPhone fanboy overexcited for things that have been in the competition for years)

Edit#2: ALI Bolton is not enough to make you go away. It feels like they learned, at last.

"you can choose overlapping full backs on the fly at last is a real boon, too."

Last Edit, I promise.

We know people want more managerial options," says Bhatti. "They want more cut scenes, new transfer systems, they want to manage their team differently, they want to know what they achieved throughout their managerial career… well, I've pretty much told you everything there."

Maybe we've reached a time were taking screenshots and using excel sheets is no longer the norm?

I am very hyped too. And this game they tested is still on beta side, so they will do a lot of changes to it I think. I like how they finally listened us and fixed referees and keepers (at least according to the reviewers). Plus shots are not so OP and graphics are far better. I just can't wait till September!

 Really?

..and we wonder why Konami keeps making this shit called a football game?

Haven't we learned that with Konami ......"Seeing is believing ....but Feeling is knowing"

This will be the third year in a row that they are changing the whole fucking gameplay.

Oh how we forget easily! :erm:

Again with the inconsistent player naming - A. SANCHEZ, then HECTOR and NACHO (presumably followed by BELLERIN and MORENO respectively). Hopefully they fix this (they won't), because it just looks very sloppy.
