To what extent will the AI learn. If it resets after each game. During the game, if it learns your tactics, does it get to a point where it just destroys you?
Probably it means "adaptive AI" will just shitting in team play more intensively.
As example, if you like to play ball control & slow build up play with lots of short passes, AI will just randomly downgrade passing skills / pass accuracy of a couple of "key-players".
Also, attackers will hiding behind the defenders ( or jump into offside position) , like a donkeys, every time when you'll try to create sharp pass in front - Konami call this cheap trick as "great interception" :ninja:
Btw, there is nothing really new in "adaptive AI" - Konami already had announced something very similar ("learning AI" blahblah) early, in PES 2009 or so (just don't really remember) . It was beginning of "cheap scripting era".
Tbh, I don't really care regarding all this PR-crap Konami talking every year before game release - "better ball physic", "more realistic gameplay", "huge improvement", etc. Its just simple advertising to sell the game. But the game still looks like it has been created 5 years ago.
Personally, I would like to see reworked Online Mode - with adequate gameplay, with no f**king button lag, disconnects,etc. But improvement like this needs investments, so I don't think Konami will ever do this.
