[PES 2018] For Kitmakers: What Has Changed?

The kits from the PES 2018 demo have been mined a few days back, so I decided to make a little comparison to show the differences between PES 2017 and 2018 kit files.

Based on the unchanged Brazil national jersey, you can see that the designers put a lot more detail into minor things like seams and waistbands, but the important changes are a) the shorter sleeves, and b) the tighter socks.

Both of these need updating to use older kits in PES 2018 without having the sleeve hems and sock details cut off. Fortunately, both of these changes shouldn't pose much of an issue for kitmakers.

Hope that helps some of you to prepare for the new season!

I don't know why they changed it, but I'm sure that lots of kit makers didn't like that.

I guess we will all have to adapt to this new format.

Do you know if there's already a new blender model for this PES 18 format? It would be really useful.

I'm sure the worst thing to change will be the collars, if they have a design that connects to the shirt they will have to be redone.

I think so, too. Well, at least the simple collars won't need adjustments, I guess =) we'll know more in a few days.

Moving the socks details and sleeves is no big hassle, at least - again - not on the simpler designs.

I don't know any Blender models, don't use them personally, but pesmaster.com has updated its kit creator already and it's gonna be useful for some stuff.

Edit: Does the kit below (River Plate Away from the demo) give you some indication as to how uncomfortable updating the collars will be?

Thank you for clearing up a few things regarding the new kit format, Caveras! I didn't even realize PesMaster had updated it's Kit Creator for PES 2018 before I read your comment! :)

Ok, thanks for your answer :)

I'll check it PESMaster website now.

Btw, I don't see the image of the kit, I think you have the wrong link for the image.
