hey i agree wit tinkica....i lose sometimes to these players who do this.....what i do is pass the ball around the field....just play nice football then make tru passes to the striker...or even take long range shots...what u have to do is give them a hard time ...like push the players in opposition around.....tackle them ..and theyll be fruistrated

I kind of know what the thread starter is talking about in his 1st post only When I play one of my mates, he always plays 4 up front, he is a shite player and I pepper his goal constantly, but he always breaks on the counter attack and scores shitty little goals, but like Hitman say’s you have to counter this, these kind of 'Different Players' only makes you a better player!
I am sure even you would be bored if everyone in the world plays cute little through balls etc....... after that first post you have talked utter shite mate. I only wish Sunderland would stop playing their 'Sexy Football' and just score any shite goal

I'm playing PES4, but I can't understand him... because look at the real life! How often weak teams play very hard defence and counter attack and beating strong world class teams. 1 shot, 1 goal and the other team cannot score (N.Ireland - England 1:0, Liverpool - Benfica 0:2...)
And, I'm winning 99% of my matches against all my homies, that's boring always beeing No.1 in my "Home Tournaments". The only one that can beat me is my Vather (68 years old, I'm 25). He's playing 5-3-2 with a sweeper and counter attack using the wings. His standart result is 1:0, sometimes 0:0 and not very often he is loosing, against me or sometimes against the CPU, but I like the way he beats the cpu and all my friends ;-) including me sometimes...
50% our results are 1:0/2:0/3:0 victories for me, but very often me playing him it is a real fight: 2:3/2:1/2:2 and so on, even if I'm the better team, it is a lot of fun to lose against him, because that's soccer, like in real life!
He got a very strong defense and I a real good offense...

How can you comment on PES5 playing styles when evidently yours is so restricted? Any team in the world must learn to combat a variety of playing styles. If Sunderland beat Man Utd it's a surprise, but no-one says it can;t happen - Alex Ferguson may complain if they lose after dominating play, but at the end of the day he accepts that his players didn't finish well or whatever. Do the same, you child.
And stop being critical of other people for no reason (I'm not, you deserve it) - you say someone knows nothing about football if they come from Australia? Well where are you from? You even call it soccer. Not many english people do that, and by your flawed logic, you must therefore know less than me about the game..

people don't care how they score as long as they score. this happens in real football, people want to score but don't care how. the same rule applies in PES5.
Also people that moan about being brazil need to grop up in my opinion. People pick the best team to win a game and why do people have to moan when they can be Brazil themselves??

If you lose it’s not your opponent’s fault, simple as.
But rather than ridiculing you anymore, I’m offering advice: If you’re constantly conceding goals via the wing cross, there are many solutions. Either have two really tall centre backs or move the defender which is letting the winger past further back, possibly having two defensive midfielders would also help. One crafty tactic which my younger brother utilizes is; to foul the opponent if it appears that they’re going for a quick counter attack, thus regrouping your players so you’re able to defend in numbers.
I’m sure there are countless hints and tips for this type of defence because let’s be honest, it is one of the most widely used tactics employed by online players.
Remember that not every game you play online is going to be an enjoyable one, everyone has different playing styles, some you may like others you may not but by improving your tactics you can enforce the manner of play.

I'm with arca33 on this. The guy seemed to have a slight point in his first post but then proceeded to make a mess of things thereafter. I remember getting frustrated at the fact that every C#%¤ chooses Brazil or AC Milan and that their strikers can score with the inside crease of their shorts or from a loose shoelace from a very tight angle but then I learned to counter it.
If you see that someone is Brazil with 3 strikers, Ronaldo in the middle, Ronaldinho out to right and Adriano out to the left just sort out some aggressive man-marking for the wide men (especially Ronaldinho, the eel/donkey-like one) with Neville or Cole and you have a much better chance.
I nearly always beat 'the Brazilians' I meet online using England but it is damn tough. You need to be on top of your game to stop them scoring.
By the way, telling the owner of this site to 'get fucked' wasn't very smart was it?
