PES 6 -> Piece of sh*t !

First of all, sorry for my bad english.
I know there are already many threads concidering the new version of this game. However, I'm SOOOO DISAPOINTTED with the game I got yesterday that I really needed to do this. Where should I begin...

I've played pes serie since 3rd part and when the PES5 came out I was absolutely sure that this is the best game in the world. I was waiting PES6 for months and like I suspected it was generally an update for PES5, but what makes me mad is that the game sucks sooooo hard!

Goalkeepers are so damn stupid! THE NEW WAY THE PLAY ARE RUINING THE HOLE GAME! Every shot taken outside the penalty area makes the keeper to rebound the ball for the attacking player. In the game I just played my enemy run near end line (if it's correct term) and shot from far distance (from zero-angle!) making my keeper to spit the ball to front of goal.
Result of 10 times too many rebounds -> Too many goals. The games I play online are like 5-5 all the time.

Talking about playing online - servers are slow as hell! It takes 15 minute to log in and connection is lost all the time! Can't billion-business Konami sacrifice few dollars to buy proper servers !?!

The game play has gone more like arcade, it is WAY TOO FAST, there's not skill anymore, you can get through defense simply running towards goal. Too often ball bounces for the offensing player. Also good players with good condition (red arrow up) need nothing but a through pass somewhere around them to be 1v1 with keeper.

Oh yes, freekicks. Extremely hard, which I don't mind, but when the scoring is extremely easy there is no point to shoot freekicks which are very hard.

Ah. I forget to say that it is way too easy to make to shot to the top corner from the 25 yard or even more far. TOO EASY! This is not realistic football!

Defenders suck. They are too slow compared to lightning-fast strikers and in the laggy game play they are impossible to stop. I'm sure these two days I've been playing is too short time to get used with movement and stuff, but this is the fact.

I don't write this because I'm losing online, I'm writing this because PES5 was much better game! I WANT MY 60€ back!

I don't know what version of the game you are playing but the new pal PES6 is in no way too fast, it's actually slower than 5, and as for running at the goal to score, what difficulty are you playing at? because even at Regular they close you down too quickly. In order to score goals it takes passing moves, not just running. As for the keepers, yes they can make fumbles, but a lot of the time they pull off incredible world class one handed saves. I've been playing PS2 and PC version for a week now, and i adapted to them straight away, but for 5 it took time, so maybe you should give it time, but personally i've been playing it and scoring lots of fantastic goals and seeing lots of fantastic saves, so i don't see a problem whatsoever. Its an awesome game once more this year, if you don't like it, maybe your not playing the same one as everyone else.

As the people of Yorkshire say "Change is not good.":ninja:. People don't like it enough said. It was always going to get stick because its not Pro Evo 5 Mark II, like people have said come March and everyone will be bumming it waiting for the next installment.

EDIT: Megx what the hell makes you so special that you have you're own thread? If you are annoyed with the game that much..well it's rather sad. It's a computer game not a matter of life and death.

I played it at my mates house on Saturday. I think it's brilliant! Got used to it straight away and i actually think the keepers are better than Pro Evo 5. My mate was Newcastle and Shay Given held onto a lot of difficult shots. I was Barcelona n Ronaldinho is awesome. Scored a free kick in my first game, so they aren't that difficult. Maybe you are playing as a sh!t team???

If you are annoyed with the game that much..well it's rather sad. It's a computer game not a matter of life and death.

Disagree....PES is not just a computer game, it is much greater, at least to me.

I honestly think it depends on what platform you are playing it on.

I first played PES6 on the Xbox360 and I wasn't impressed. The gameplay was awful, absolutely terrible. I was merely tapping the shoot button and the ball would balloon about 40 yards over the bar! As the defender would win the aerial battle every time, there was no way I was going to score from a header, unless of course I was totally un-marked and the ball wouldn't end up in row Z! And I haven't even mentioned the lack of editing options and stadiums available yet! You cannot even transfer players... pfft

After playing PES6 on the 360, I was seriously considering whether or not to buy PES6 for my PS2. I did purchase the PS2 version and I haven't got any complaints. My only criticism would be the Cruyff turn, which is a little more rigid to execute in this version but some people would say I'm being harsh. What makes the purchase of the PS2 version of PES6 even more sweeter is that I got my hands on it on the Thursday and for a cut-price of £24.77.

I have no idea what KCET have done to the 360 version. If anything, they have FIFArised it!
