PES2008 Ultimate Championship Patch OF! with Easy Installation!

when i start d game nothing happens it just starts normally with no changes except for the club names. i dont really know what to do. its getting a bit boring playing with d wrong badges. can u upload through www.piratebay.org it could take any file size.

Have you looked at the picture-tutorial thoroughly? The proccesses are numbered and colour-coded when necessary on each image to show the order you have to do each task.
From you description that nothing has changed except for the club names seems to me that you have not touched the .img files, or have done it incorrectly at the very least.
Were there any error messages at all during the patching proccess, or did you rememeber to rename the files back to the original?

And I have said before that I would not upload any full .img files in any form simply cause it'll take too long and I just don't have the time for that, I really apologise for this.

I've installed it 100% according to the tutorial etc.. my Championship teams are coming out with the right badges, but the French teams names and players :S while the French league has no players (Player1 and all that instead) and no team names.

From your description, if I remember correctly, you have patched cv_1.img correctly, but cv_0.img remains unpatched.
Did you remember to change the .img file names back to the original?
Also, can I ask what operating system you are using?...this may affect the patch.

From what you have types, it seems you have forgotten to put the PES2008_EDIT01.bin I have provided into My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\save

Thats fine, cv_1.img only requires one file rebuild only, it has adequete space for patching.
Just rename the file back to cv_1.img, and everything should work perfeclty.

i also realised that i had 2 cvar_0 files in the very beginning

cvar_0.img???...i never heard of that file before.
What version (country-wise) of PES2008 did you purchase or download?

If it is 64-bit, please check my very first post.
Press Ctrl+F then search for Vista, the first search result should take you to the sollutions for the 64-bit Vista system.

The only thing I could recommend you to do is to try and re-do the whole patching proccess by re-downloading new patch files as well as using fresh .img files from your DVD or ISO as there may have been some error during the patching/downloading process.
Other than that, I'm afraid I can't really help you much with this, sorry.

I had one idea to use img files directly from DVD. It helps in cv_1.img but doesn't with rv_e.img. Can anyone upload me patched rv_e.img its only 10MB. Thanks a lot

Editing Kits

I want to create a custom team. However, i cannot edit strips on any of the teams. Is there anyway i can edit one strip? Team name etc i can edit in edit mode, but without the patch you can edit the kits. But i want the man.u kit etc to remain.

It is impossible to edit the kits on the in-game editor like how you were able to before applying the patch, unless you remove the patch.

If you'd really want to edit the kits then I recommend you to use Game Graphic Studio to select the kits you want to edit and extract them (from cv_0.img).
The extracted files should be .PNG files, which you can edit on Photoshop.
After editing, simply save it and open the up GGS again and locate your kit you want to replace.
Once located, open the edited .png file and it would be shown on the central canvas of the GGS interface.
The next step is to drag and drop the .png onto the kit you'd want to overwrite.

No, sorry, I won't be making any more updates for this patch. I have completely lost interest in PES2008 and I only play it once every few weeks at most now.
I am only here to provide the help I remember from patching to those who have problems installing this patch.

I'll probaly make a new patch for PES2009 once it is released, and hopefully this edition would keep in interested for a longer period of time.

I apologise again that I would not be making anymore updates for this patch.

By the way, I had a little problem about to patch player's face especially the arsenal team. A lot of face pack I had download, and import the foler using lates AFS Explorer, but..still don't work :'( Can u help me plezzz....
