hmmm
im currently downloading the first patch file front !
an i jst got up 2 30MB downloaded, an basically caught a trojan virus! did any1 else , seeing as all the other comment's on here are so cheerfull, im not so sure myself !

well i've downloaded the damn patch file front, an in the IMG folder, there isn't a ca_0.img file ! its jst afp or some malarki like that lol , come on .. whats the matter wid it, or me even , all's about i got was a trojan threat lol

p.s.: What's the problem with the new PES? I think it is more challenging and realistic than 2006. I am not saying it is the kinda game a could play forever, but a top notch fight with your roomate from time to time could be really thrilling with it...

Yeh, i agree PES2008 is still a great game, but i feel PES is becoming abit repetitive after the last few years, since they haven't made major improvesments within the games and i am basically doing the same things over and over again every year with new PES's.
Win D2 and D2 Cup first year, then the D1 and D1 Cup, then including the European Cup every year after that, been like that since PES4, even with using the default players (Castolo & crew) and Cheat Prevention Save.
But I'll still continue playing the series as I have started from the earliest editions of Winning Eleven (Japan ver)

lol...hi mate, first of all, there is an edit button at the bottom of your post so you wouldn't need to start a new one whenever you have additional comments to add.

Secondly, do you have any reliable internet security programs (need a few to survive these days...), if you do then I have no idea why the trojan threats are being generated as the sites provided are perfectly safe.
If you don't, heres some highly recommended stuff: NOD32, Webroot SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor.

Thirdly, there is no file in the patch nor have i indicated in the tutorials where a file named ca_0.img exists.
The files you should be concentrating on are cv_0.img, cv_1.img and rv_e.img while the patch files are the same but with .afp file extenstions instead of .img

Please get back to me if you still experience problems.

thank you getting back to my post, i am new here so maybe i jst got a lil confused to soon lol ... i didnt realise that the patch was for the pc version, i jst assumed ps3 lol ... woops my mistake ! ... as for the ca_0, i actually meant cv_ etc etc .. no sleep , lost ma mind a lil haha ... soz . an thanks , an do what ure doing ;)

haha, yeah i agree ... they are slacking big time , esp on the ps3 , the game judders an flickers 2 much an goes slo ! an its annoying ... aint no1 made a patch for that ? ...
i been playing iss pro since, on the snes, iss pro deluxe atleast on that the player cud do better skill's aswell lol ... but yeh, still playing year in year out an frankly, it is boring me also!

Any chance of Norwich team and the other teams not included coming in the Other leagues B over unwanted teams?

is there any way of adding my own beloved leeds uinited to the game after i've used your option file? I can't edit any teams as i presume they're locked due to their scanned shirts etc. swapping them for one of the "other teams" would be ideal. is this possible?

by the way, sterling work. it works perfectly and looks the berries!

Sorry, but I don't have enough time to make major changes to the patch for a very long while.
And I do not have Football Manager installed to transfer the stats.

But you can make your own, read the reply to d_jay1 just below.

Yeh, the kits is not possible to edit within the game editor.
If you would like to produce your own teams, you would need Game Graphic Studio (GGS) to apply the kit PNGs over a certain team. You would also need Footbal Manager (preferably 2008) to transfer the player stats via a program called Verter. The players can be edited through the normal on-game editor.

The kits are stored in cv_0.img

But i guess the kits for teams below the Championship would be pretty hard to find...you can either search for them, or use the kits within cv_0.img as a guide to make your own in Photoshop.

If they kept the same gameplay and animation of the characters and improved the graphics of pro evo 06 and released it as pro 08 it would have been better.

i am trying to patch the cv_1_rebuild.img but after i apply the patch, it didnt ask me to rebuild it.. have i done something wrong?

i have done other 2 files without problem but tis.. any help?
