PES2008 Ultimate Championship Patch OF! with Easy Installation!

Hi, not sure if this has been mentioned, i have patched, all teams, kits etc work perfectly, just one problem - when playing a game against a championship team, the team name in the corner (where the score is) reverts back to whatever french team it was example, i play sheff utd, kits and team name correct when selecting them, but in-game the score says Everton 0-0 Paris St G. This happened to anyone else ?

Hi again Deckz. Ok I'm just in the middle of re-patching now and I'm a bit confused on the tutorial; "6.AFS would then begin the unpackaging, and if you are prompted to reserve space for some files, click yes and just like the process in 'step 3', save the file with a different name or in a different location." So does that mean I save this file the same name as ("3.Now find your cv_0.img file in your PES2008 directory, once you have found and attempted to load it, it may ask if you would like to rebuild the file, click yes and save it with a different name (eg. cv_0a.img), or save it in another safe location.") cv_0a.img? Or is this a different file?

You would have to save it with a different file name.

By the way, I recommend you should follow the picture tutorial right beneath the initial instructions.

This has not been mentioned before, and since I haven't installed scoreboards this error doesn't occur to me.
I would have to check a few files first before solving this...sorry, it may take a while..

EDIT: This seems to only affect certain IPs as I have seen this thread on a different computer and the images are still present.

i followed everything deckz said and it worked out fine. the championship clubs still have french names though...i DID paste the option files into my save folder...so i still dunno what's wrong.

I am almost certain that the problem lies in the PES2008_EDIT01.bin, I think it may have not auto-loaded, first try to manually load from within the game.

But if this is the case, I do not have a solid sollution in solving this matter, please search the problems thread for this.

However, please keep me updated in this.

guys i got everything right xept da fact that i have the french names on championship. But i got the old names of the teams too, North london, London FC, Teeside etc. I edited manually the team names, but after next time i started pes i had the old namez back... What could be the problem?

Same problem as the two previous posters, please read the post just prior to your one.

It's an issue with auto-load I don't really understand myself.

Sorry mate, and hope you can find a solution somewhere, and I'm pretty sure i've seen some post(s) regarding this somewhere here.

Hi mate,
This is certainly the most meaningful patch for PES2008. It is really difficult to find a patch with Div1 and Div 2 teams from the same country. In fact this is the only patch that I have been playing since I bought PES2008. I just wonder whether you will be adding more German teams. Currently there is only Bayern Munich. Any chance of adding Stuttgart /Weder Bremen? If you can replace the weaker Italian/Spanish sides with top teams from other European country, the Master League will be really fantastic Just a suggestion though. Thanks again for this great patch.

I had this same problem, i just loaded the edit data from in the game and saved it as soon as it loaded. Worked for me!

Amazing patch. I found a few spelling errors though, namely (in incorrect/correct format) Jabier Garrido / Javier Garrido, Saint Ettienne / Saint-Etienne and Tolouse / Toulouse.

Still, this is top, top work. Here's waiting for a January transfer window update!

Patch looks great, but I have a repeating crash during goal replays or immediately after goal scoring. Any ideas what's causing it?

Sorry, I don't think I would taking this on, and if I replace the teams, I would probaly replace the South America teams to make it more European.
If you are interested in editing it yourself, I can send the relevant emblems that you need. The glossy style and transparent alpha channel are already edited for PES2008 use.

I would be editing them if I make a January Transfer Window update...still not certain I'll be making it though.

I think one or more of the .img files are corrupted, you should re-patch every file with fresh .img files.

I played through and won the championship (Prem D2) and got promoted to the premeirship, but the prem teams are now foreign!!! Which league do I need to start with to ensure I get promoted to play prem teams?

lol, I'm sorry, but I think you would have to start the Master League again.
When you start a Master League, you would have to "Make Changes" when you select which league you want to participate in and you have to make sure you select the right teams for all 4 leagues and the extra Division 2 for your own league.

But if it is only the emblems that are foreign (Team names and the players are from Prem teams) then you would just have to patch the emblem files (without starting new Master League).
