PES2015 – CURRENT STADIUM LIST
As with previous iterations, PES2015 will allow you to play the beautiful game in a number of beautiful and breathtaking stadiums all around the world which we’ve listed below. Furthermore we’ve also got some exciting news about editing and customising stadiums for your favourite team.
ALLIANZ ARENA, MUNICH – CAPACITY 71,137
Located in the Bavarian region of Germany, the Allianz Arena is the current home of German footballing giants Bayern Munich and is where PES2015 cover star Mario Gotze plys his trade.
Opened in May 2005, the stadium exterior consists of a number of inflated ETFE plastic panels which allow for a full colour-changing exterior – the first stadium in the world to have done so.
Despite being less than 10 years old, the ground already has a fair bit of history hosting some massive domestic and international games – including the UEFA Champions League Final in 2012.
NATIONAL STADIUM, WARSAW – CAPACITY 58,145
The National Stadium, or Stadion Narodowy as it’s known locally is the largest football stadium in Poland and was built specially for the UEFA European Championships in 2012 in which it hosted both a quarter and a semi-final.
Nowadays, the impressive stadium serves as the home of the Polish national team and will also be the venue for this year’s Europa League Final.
OLD TRAFFORD, MANCHESTER – CAPACITY 75,731
A ground that needs no introduction, Old Trafford is the home of England’s most successful domestic team – Manchester United – and has held a number of prestigious matches in it’s time including a Semi Final at UEFA Euro 96 and a UEFA Champions League Final.
The venue also played host to a number of competitive PES events including this year’s PES World Finals so it’s steeped in both footballing and PES history,
SAN SIRO / GIUSEPPE MEAZZA, MILAN – CAPACITY 80,018
A veteran within the PES series, the iconic San Siro stadium in Milan gives you two for the price of one as it can be decked with the colours of both AC Milan (San Siro) and Internazionale Milano (Guiseppe Meazza).
Opened in 1926 it’s no surprise that the ground has serious pedigree including being the venue for the 1965, 1970 and 2001 UEFA Champions League Finals. On top of this, it’s also due to host next season’s final in 2016.
JUVENTUS STADIUM, TURIN – CAPACITY 41,254
Juventus Stadium, unsurprisingly is the current home of Italian champions Juventus and was opened in 2011.
With the stands just 7.5 meters away from the pitch, the ground generates a breathtaking atmosphere at Juventus games helping to make matches a real spectacle. As well as hosting Italian top-flight matches the ground was also the venue for last season’s Europa League final.
ESTADIO URBANO CALDEIRA, SANTOS – CAPACITY 16,798
What this stadium lacks in capacity it certainly makes up in both history having been the home of Brazilian giants Santos since it’s opening in 1916 and has been the location of some of the biggest domestic games to have taken place in Brazil.
