PES3 Option File Thread - PS2 only

PES3 option files work on PES3 only.
PES3 beta option files work on PES3 beta only.
WE7 option files work on WE7 only.

WE7:IJ opition files work on WE7:IJ only.
There is a new thread for WE7:IJ option files in the Editing section.
And there are options in WE7:IJ to load an option file from WE7 but this is only a partial transfer and certain things won't be loaded.

Hi,

I now play with the Evolution 1.1 option file from an Italian site because Sampdoria is in it and the guy I play the game with is a huge fan of Samp. But the rest of the option file is not so good as other option files around. Does anybody have a (very) good PES3 option file with Sampdoria in it?

Will you please mail it to: [email protected]

or reply in this thread so I can contact you or read your reply

Thanks in advance.......

you have to put the x-port file in your x-port "savedgames" directory and the start x-port. (C:\programs\datel\savedgames i think, you will see...
:) )

Files you have downloaded may be in zip form. Open the zip and copy the .xps file out of it and into the savedgames folder which is inside the X-Port folder which should be inside Program Files. Any more questions, ask in the X-Port help thread.

As Zyg says, if the files are in zip format (the file name ends .zip), you'll need to unzip them. They should then be in Xport format (the file name ends .xps).

I've had hitches using X-port to link PS2 to PC, and this is what I've learned:

Make sure the X-port disk for the console has loaded up fully before you open the X-port software on the PC. Otherwise you'll get a USB error because the two machines won't communicate.

Give distinct names to any existing PES3 option files in your PC database, it will help to show which one is the new one.

The new one should turn up under the default name:
P.E. Soccer OPTIONFILE

It's the details appear on the left - when it was last saved from a game or game editor (not the date you up or down-loaded it). Best re-label the file at this point to give it a distinctive name, so you'll know what it is days or weeks later when there may be many more stored in your PC database.

Double check you've backed up whatever option file you have for PES3 on your memory card, unless your happy for X-port to over-write it. (You can only have one Option file for PES3 per card, but PES3 file will live side by side with a WE7i file.)
