Err *edit* didn't realize that was a user review. Plus in the review itself he doesn't even say that he considers other PES directly superior.. shrug. And says the main reason he is disappointed is because they didn't change enough!

I spotted a cool cutscene where the goalie gets compliments from his teammates after having made a good save, very cool! Anyone seen this yet?

Does this cutscene come straight after a penalty save?

I had one like that earlier on after saving a penalty, so yes, i think so.

Agreed with the drop ball feature, i think its pretty cool, and a nice addition to the game, makes it much more realistic.

Okay then I'm going to chuck my opinions into the hat.

Got PES5 for Xmas, loved PES4 but find it too easy so lets hope that PES5 brings the challenge I'm craving!

Played my first 2 games on PES5 last night (so obviously I haven't had lots of exposure to the game and these are only my initial thoughts).

First thing is that it seems slower, but I'm sure I've thought this with every new release of the game so perhaps this is perception.

It seems you can't slide tackle at all without giving away a foul, but I guess maybe I'll learn to time this better after a few more games.

Looks like the Ref is still not going to give bookings to the CPU when it brings down your players, this was the most frustrating part of PES4 the amount of times I was through on goal only to be tripped by the CPU and not even a booking for their player! ggggrrrrrrr. I hope they've fiixed this but I doubt it.

Played on 3* to get to grip with the game and won both games, so will step up a couple of stars before starting a master league.

I've put an option file with updated teams on, but Keane is still at ManUre. I assume there'll be an updated file once the transfer window closes. Someone could always be nice and put Reading on an option file but I guess I'll have to use the editor and do it myself!

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I hate the cutscenes. They are so utterly pointless and just waste time!

Someone could always be nice and put Reading on an option file but I guess I'll have to use the editor and do it myself!

I think g33k is referring to the substitution and corner cutscenes that take an age to load and then take another age to load the next frame.

After 2 months of intense play, i can say that it gets boring to me to play against the CPU. The on.line option is great but i use to get tired of it after play some matches.

Maybe i'm growing up :) or maybe Konami has to change some things.
