I've added Harewood, Robinho, Kaiser, Rachmane Barry and Clichy.

Just a suggestion, should we only include 90+ graphs on the list? Makes things more concise.

The highest curve aren't necessarily the best. There are some players who have curves which touch the 85 area but they're stats are out of this world. And this is usually down to sharp growth curves ie. you see the curve going upwards in a straight line steeply.

I posted an example in this thread somewhere. Let me just find it for you.

EDIT: Here it is:

Whittingham

That's all I can think of right now. Great thread btw!

Can you tell me a liitle more about Whittingham? What position does he play? How old is he and what is his curve like?

I see what you're getting at. For example, I love using Essien in my squads, even though his graph is slightly like that - it peaks and plateaus in the low 80s. He's a great CMF presence.

I guess it just comes down to preference when building your team, but I wouldn't include someone like Essien in the high potential list.

As for Whittingham, he's a SMF/LSB, ENG, roughly 21? He was a great backup LMF/LSB in WE8. Not quite as useful in PES5 though (imho).

What I was getting at was the part of the curve where it says "accelerated growth" is the most important. This is where you can determine how far upwards their curve goes. And thus, you can control the player's potential and a lot of the time, make the player better than his curve would suggest.

I've done this with players like Coloccini, Felipe and Alou Diarra (all aged between 23-26 in the first season of the Master league) and they've all developed their stats over and beyond the top of their curve.

If a player has a gradual growth curve, then it becomes harder to change their potential. Do you see what I mean?

I haven't come across him yet in my Master League so I don't know what he's like. I'll check anyway though.

If he's good, then I'll add him to the list.

Yep, gotcha. Thanks for the info. I'll look into that too. With past experience with WE, the players almost always better their potential, but not by much more than 5-7 points. This was with players I played every single match, from league, cup to the euro championship.

It'd be great to know if you have found anything more

Yamada was a CMF/AMF, JAP, in WE.

Not too sure of his status in PES5, as I have yet to find him in the game (different name, maybe?)

He is in PES5. I checked.

He's pretty good for his age and he's got a pretty good development curve aswell.

I thought I'd give Griffiths a mention. He's Welsh and he's an amazing dribbler. He's like the right-footed version of Ryan Giggs.

Both have been added to the list.

EDIT: Alomst forgot. I recently signed Jean. He's literally a monster of a centre-back.

He's taller than Peter Crouch. :eek:hmy:

He starts off with 87 defence and he has a gradual growth curve (a lot like Puyol's but at the beginning of the curve). He's gonna be an amazing defender.

Hi, thanks for these messages and the list of potential stars - it's very helpful!

2 players that i've recently signed because their stats have upped considerably more than you might have expected are MAXWELL (wb) from ajax and AQUILANI (cmf) from Roma.

Also i think you might have missed the incredible CASSANO (SS) also from Roma. He is unbelievable as far as stats go. and he's young.

plus MUTU is much better than his real life counterpart might have any reason to expect (and this is after 3 seasons in the master league) - actually i think you might have already mentioned that.

still on a romanian tip - CHIVU is giving me all sorts of trouble - having signed him on the up (he has one of those 2 peaks graphs) as a replacement for an ageing sol campbell - i've had to deal with the little blighter GOING MISSING, FALLING OVER and generally EMBARASSING me in front of the watching football world.

take my advice - DON'T BE TEMPTED BY CHIVU! he's a disgrace....

I've added Perea, Metzelder, Alex, Klasnic, Pandev and Berbatov to the list.

Cavenaghi can be found in the PES Shop. He needs to be unlocked first. I think he's available on a free transfer in the Master League.

But don't quote me on this.

Ko_nami, Tavano have great stats, really fast and agility....He has 22-26years I think (I dont remember) but he got great stats.....he play like CF and I think that SS too......is form Italy but dont play in any team I think......
Oh and I forgot to add three new players that I have: Vitali (16 years-CB), Delios (16 years-CB) and Huber (16 years-GK)......an explanation.this three players dont appear in the firts seasont that you played.....why I said this? Because I am in 5º season and this three player now in my team have 19 years and if you rest 19-5 the result is 14 and dont exist players that have this age.....I hope that everybody understand that I said......
