hi, I finally got round to patching Pro Evo using swap magic and nero to burn. It looks great and thumbs up for the great patch! But It seems very jumpy and takes ages loading sometimes taking 30 mins to play a 10 minute game because of all the cutscenes loading, is that usual or is it maybe the disc type I'm using?

Also after a few goes I switched it off, couldn't handle the loading any longer. But today I put it on to show my friend how good it looked, but the colours seemed a little funky; Red - Purple and Blue - Green. Once our match loaded up there were some distorted colours in the background, kinda like patches of colour. So I quickly switched it off and tried my non back up version of PES and now the coloured patches are on the ps2 all together, no matter what I put on dvds or games. Have I screwed up my ps2 laser?

sorry for the long post, but I would I would be greatfull for any info! If it is the laser I need fixed are there any dvds that are better to use than others?

I have never had this problem the discs I use are good but thet are not the best in the world on what speed did you burn you'r game?the lowest possible setting is the best thats the only thing I can think of for the slow loading screens as for the ropey colours haven got a clue is you'r scart lead in properley?also make shur there are no scratches on you'r discs before you burn.
