[PES5] X-mas Patch

Hi. I only ever played PES4 for a few months on xbox and never patched it so I don't know all of the xbox patching answers but here's my contribution:

Patches only work for the game they are made for. This xbox pes5 patch will only work on xbox pes5 and not pc pes5 or ps2 pes5. This is because all the games contain different files.

do you need to burn to cd.
or can you just put it all together on the computer and stick it onto the max drive.

The size of the patch is: Total size: 886mb
That won't fit on a CD or a max drive. Follow the instructions in the first post and either burn it onto a DVD-R or more easily - FTP it to the xbox. I think this requires the correct type of cable.

im kinda new to this modding thing. and want to get started by downloading this patch. but for the life of me i dont know how. i want to be able to use the patch without to use nero to burn anything onto dvd-R's.
can anyone tell me a way of getting the patch onto my xbox by doing everything on the computer. im kinda a noob to this.

Use the FTP method as mentioned in the first post.

what folder do you save the unrar files too. the blank folder with no name or the xmas patch folder?

Download all the files in the first post and make sure they are in the same folder of your choice. Unrar one of the files and it creates a subfolder within your folder. That's it.

where can i create my own patches? is it hard.
and is the ps2 tutorials of patching the same as the xbox one?
plus once youve burnt all the patches to a dvd r, how do you start playing the actual game? does the xbox have to be modded (softmodded etc)

I believe the xbox must be modded to play a patched version of the game. The tutorial for PS2 definitely doesn't apply to xbox. There should be an xbox patching tutorial somewhere, I remember one in a huge thread for an xbox PES4 patch.
Patches are not easy to make and I don't know of a definitive guide to making patches. Probably someone who has made a patch could explain it well enough.

ive used the win rar program to extract all files but i cant find the ppf file i need. where is it?

The first post says that the contents are
Contents: 0_text.afs, e_text.afs, 0_sound.afs, pes5n/p.xmv, default.xbe, optionfile
so there is no ppf for this patch.
ppf files are for PS2.

Absolutely stunning patch folks. I love it. I also had a go at changing bits of the music with the tut given on page 4 and it worked great too.

I was wondering tho. What bit did you edit in order to change the intro sequence as i'd love to make one of those as well.

A tut for that would be nice as well.

Nice work! Loving PES5 with this patch. Although it's my first one I used
I'd like to know though how this patch compares to other major patches, like super patch 3.0(3.1), helki's or wolf's patch. Is it better? It's bigger that's for sure ^^
Anyone that would share his experience?
