Does overwriting ML young players cause problems?

Cause I've just noticed I've accidentally overwritten one player:

Andre, age 19 (French) with Ameobi!?

I think I must have did when I was double checking for duplicates and because there's two ML players called Andre I jumped the gun.

Grrr :rolleyes:

Hopefully given Ameobi isn't registered with a club, it will be OK. :unsure:

The starting movie-video doesn't start...............Just blacks out...and by pressing enter you procced...Why????

Is this happening to anyone else?
I know why it happens on my PC, I have a program which lets me watch TV from around the world, but if I uninstall it the Pes6 intro movie works fine again.
But I didn't think it would effect an OF, I thought it was something in the Pes6 program files, just on my PC.

I'd usually say, who cares about an intro movie you've watched so many times already, but admittedly the music used in it does get you in the mood for the Brazilian teams! :D

Hey Avik, real glad you like the file on your side of the world! :) I personally prefer the tweaked version, while it can be easier to pull off things with the improved stats, but when things aren't going your way in the Master League the computer can punish you and break you heart with some spectacular goal in the dying minutes! :D

That's cool and all, but I'm personally happy with the way I've done it. I did it similar to that in the past and it was too fast and end to end, with no midfield battles.
But hey each to their own, :) and I guess PC specs come into it as well.
I haven't got a great PC and play with lowish graphic settings, and my tweaked one is so fast as it is.


BTW I would have replied to these posts earlier, but I couldn't get on the site, it kept on stalling.

Thanks, real glad you like the file. :)

What you need to do is first download Compulsions PES 6 editor:

Open up a Option file. Then you'll be able to see a section with the ML defaults, click on any player and you can then edit all their stats.

Oh...OK, I used Compulsions PES 6 editor.
It's just a matter of copying the default ML players to blank edited player slots first.
Then going into the actual game and making the changes you want.
Then back in Compulsions editor overwriting the ML defaults with the edited versions.

I used 2 option files for this. I copied the ML players onto a back up/unused OF first.
Then when I was happy with the changes made in game, I copied them over the ML defaults on my main file.

With Compulsions PES 6 editor you can open up 2 option files, one as you main file you're gonna use and a second one to copy players, kits etc from.
So if you double click on any player a "import from OF2" button will come up, meaning you can overwrite the selected player with any player from the second OF. i.e A master league default player with one of your editing versions.
