No edit mode? Are they mad? That's a key item. Yes, it has to have realistic gameplay, but it's the ability to create that is a great part of the fun of playing.

Well, its true that there isn't a true edit mode, just ability to edit player stats etc. but personally i don't care, and all these people who say its a half assed game without edit mode, grow up, really. Lets face facts, as long as gameplay and ONLINE play is good for PES6 on 360, what else matters. Like you all said you're sure they'll release an update on Xbox Live Marketplace so lets all stop bitching and enjoy the game eh My friend has 360 version and it looks awesome, plays like a treat, slower than 5 but more rewarding. and how the hell will they bring out an update thats any different, they cant use licences in the game so they arnt gonna be able to use them in any update

Sure its a pain in the arse , but its the price you have to pay if you want to play the best football game on the 360.

If having to look through the teams (all 18 of them) once to figure out who is who is too much work then you should just quit moaning about it & go buy fifa

i meanwhile will be enjoying playing a proper football game , edit mode or not.

Not necessarily, if sumeone has the data saved on their 360 and has a mem stick, option files could be uploaded for transfer to other 360's, lets face it guys, PSP didnt have a proper edit mode for kits etc but you could still get an option file with all the sponsors etc. and as for the patch on Xbox live, i didnt mean licensing patches, i meant transfer updates and additional stadiums could be purchased, as i doubt Konami would allow illegal licensing to be downloaded.

All the modders out there will already be in the process of developing a patch for their 360 version, but for us clean cut owners without modded Firmware etc, we'll just need to wait for next year or until an option file is out.

I was not arsed untill I read You can't edit teams or register players! :shocking: so come January, this game will be out of date. If Konami don't release a January patch on the marketplace, they are grade A cunts.

seems poor english but ea dont charge for updates,not with madden rosters anyway,they jus automatically update the nxt time u play,so this best be the case wit pes,if u hav to pay all faith is lossed

well does it say content download on the back of the cover if it does then there will be stuff to download, but this normally takes ages like 2 months for it to come up on the marketplace. and you will definitly have to pay for stadiums and whatever cos there aint many games that give additional stuff for free!

with fifa07 demo on the 360 showing so much promise and moving forward constantly reaching for a better footballing experience, while pes seem to be going backwards fast,
I would say the football crown finally belongs to EA and konami have let down all there loyal and trusted fans all over the world but they have also let themselves down
i have been there for konami ever since there very first title on the super nintendo,
The only consolation in this sad story is that, thank god fifa seems to have come up with the goods otherwise football would of been finished for the true footy gamer.

I pre-ordered PES6 months ago cos I was dying for it to come out on my 360. I'm already fed up of it without even playing it, I only tend to play the premiership and they'll all be called stupid names with crap plain strips. Boring. I've played the Fifa demo and it was rubbish too so I can see me sticking to playing my PES5 for the old xbox on my new machine. Sooo glad I forked out the £300, it may not be a lot to that Seabass bloke but it is to many people. It's a half arsed attempt from Konami and they should be ashamed that they're living on past glories. I hate Fifa games but they will eventually get it right and they hold all the licensing cards. I'm honestly considering buying a ps2 now and selling the 360, its not what i had hoped it to be. It would appear PS3 will be the way ahead so I better get saving
