Do you think that you've convinced us with your review, sorry I do mean your opinion !!!! 99.99% of people in PESgaming are PESfans, because they have a long history with PES and Konami and they've already read hundreds of reviews concerning PES6. Most of them also will build their own point of view depending on their personal experience....
May be they could pay more attention to your opinion (review is better here), if you do write it in a more organised way with specific items. Think about it...........

Yeah its a great franchise no doubt about it and I have always liked Konami's soccer games since ISS Pro on the PSone. I have had every ISS/PES game since 96.

I just cant get over how ridiculous the players look when sprinting. I dont understand why people turn a blind eye to this.

Excuse me, what blind eye you're talking about? You are free to say what you do want to say, but I am talking about the way you should use to introduce your ideas.
Anyone, who doesn't like the game, has to say what he do see. The point here is why and how....

Uh Oh

Hi guys.

Haven't had a chance to play PES6 yet but im already distressed about it after reading some of the comments etc. Why have the german teams been taken out? Surely this makes PES6 worse already because there arent as many teams in there? Even if the gameplay is slightly better, why remove teams from the game. Variety is the spice of life as they say! Please can someone reply and say that the bundesliga is included and I will once again be looking forward to purchasing this tomorrow, otherwise I may aswell carry on playing PES5.

The Bundesliga was included in PES6, but it was deleted from the final version. Becaue of the license issue, EA took the exclusive license of the Bundesliga, that's all.......
The good news here is that you can create all the Bundesliga teams through the Other Leagues C, which is a new section in th PES and it is 18 empty slots that allow you to make any teams you want, if you want anything else other than the Bundesliga for example. I think the process of editing these default teams are very easy through the editing section inside the game itself or through patching the game, whatever you want...:)

I dont want to give an 'in-depth' review of PES 6. I think everyone can make up their mind if they like the overall game or not. Most do like it.

But the fact is that the players look stupid when they are sprinting/dashing. Its been like this for a while in PES games.

i've been playing pes6 since tuesday and i believe that he is chatting shit. the game encourages more build up play rather than just the long ball.
thats evidence to everyone here that he must be a fifa fan!

Okay, I got it...you just want to talk about the gameplay and the player styles. We all know that the most realistic and impressing part of PESs, generally, is its realism, that's why it is very popular.
I've never heard such an attack on PES6 player styles or these stuffs, but I always hear criticism about the licenses and ML. Even me, criticise it a lot.
I haven't played it myself till now, I just make up my own mind through the eyes of PES fans (of course, Insighters;)) till I play it.
I'll write my full review after playing it. Then we'll have a full discussion.
Anyway, your opinion is so much appreciated....:)

My experience of PES5 was on the PC. My PC would run the game very smoothly but it would also slow the game down a fraction which really improved the game. Compared to PES6 on the PS2, PES5 on the PC was better imo, apart from the softspot for goals online where everyone would just run down the wing, cruyff turn and then roll it accross the penalty area for a goal every time.

Maybe PES6 for PC is the answer? Anyone played it? Does it differ much to the PS2 version?

Thanks for changing the name of the thread btw.

I do not understand it, people. Two completely different opinions:
1) PSE6 is slow.
2) PES6 is too fast.
No comment......:shocking:

You're clearly just adjusting to the speed. After i played on FIFA for a week or so and went back to PES4, i was like "what the hell, is it on double speed mode" and i actually had to check to make sure it wasn't. After a couple of hours i got used to it and everything was peachy. So why not quit whining about something as base as an animation you don't like and do something about it. You can either find a slower footie game, take some speed, or shut the hell up - you're choice.

I played PES5 on both PC and PS2 and I found no difference in the game speed between both............

Ok ok, did anyone see that PS3 next gen EA Sports demo of the basketball player? Notice how they focus on the 'foot anchoring' mechanism. This is the kind of thing I mean with PES6. IF the PES6 players feet were using a similar anchor system they would be traveling a hell of a lot faster than they are currently in the game. They do actually look like sonic the hedgehog! lol
Other simple moves such as the cruyff turn are too fast also imo.

More than 95% of people say, who have played PES6 say so. This means more realism. Check the official "I have PES6" thread...http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=43716.

OK, they must be coming directly to PES6 after playing PES5. I have been playing PES5, Fifa 2007 and now PES6.

Fifa 07 is by far the better game when it comes to gameplay speed and the animations when the players run, jog and sprint with the ball are also far superior. Its a shame that Fifa 07 very bad in all other departments such as shooting and passing.

Indeed, this is why people say FIFA has the graphics and PES has the gameplay. You will get used to it after a while though.
