Player form is bs

I dont understand how this game generates form for players.

Ive won every game this year,
Gourcuff is leading goal scorer... 2 goals in the last game
The next 5 games he is in (Purple form)
I even played him once and he scores and gets a 7.0 and still he is purple for the following game...
WTF

Form is just random bullshiz in this game it seems it just does what it wants most the time

Whenever I let my players play with purple condition, they noticably play bad. They run and react slower. So I have to take them out of the game asap. It's that bad

i know they play bad when tehy are in bad form what i dont get is why some players get in bad form when they seemingly are in unstoppable form in the games itself

shit happens. form can be random in real life also. all of a sudden, a player can be a bad spell. maybe they're temporarily not feeling well, etc. if your player is red arrow up all the time in PES master league, that would be pretty fucking boring actually...

You do realise there is a form stat for each player adriano ronandinho etc have low form and will be on poor form most times.

i thought your form was random in the game, like it doesnt matter how well you play in a previous day its just to give some variety to the game, like in real life some players randomly play well some weeks and bad the next...

It is random but just not completely as players with high form will in most cases be green,orange or red

I noticed about half of my team will have purple forms for a few weeks right after transfer periods. It's really weird.

Question: If you play someone with purple form, will he be more likely to stay that way?

No i doubt it but he is more likley to pick up an injury if played on low form

im going to have loads of players on purple as i had to cut my costs so my althetic trainer will be shit.

But i think it can sometimes make an affect like you pass the ball and player cant control it also dont play a keeper with purple i had an easy shot and my keeper just pushed it in i know the keepers are bad that was terrible

i find the form bars realistic. like some weeks the will be fine other weeks will be bad, its random

of course on the stats for is represented in i think 1-8(correct me if im wrong)
the higher the number the better the form (ie less likely to be on blue or purple). the lower the form then more likely to be on blue or purple
it makes it fun and realistic because not all players can be on form everygame.

example in rl would be saha when he was with united. good player but never really hit top form. another example would be owen, excellent form at liverpool. dropped at madrid, got a bit better at newcastle, now slowly starting to get better form at united.

Cool. Mine isn't really random, the same list of players would have purple forms for a few weeks straight.

I also find that if a player has broken loyalty then he's purple ALL the time.

You should be able to improve it by playing well with a particular player, i.e. forwards scoring, defenders making tackles etc. Likewise, you should be able to make it worse by missing chances and playing shit

There is a player ability value called "FORM" which on a scale of 1 to 8. That's what determines the match-to-match form. Players who are 8 in FORM, normally retain their good form over many successive matches. Just do the editing if you have some particularly bad instances.

In the North American version the form rating is still called condition. It really is just a physical thing. In real life, even when a player is not injured there's a good chance something is slightly bothering him like a bruise somewhere or maybe an itchy ass lol. Nobody goes through an entire season 100% scratch free. That's just how I look at it anyways.

true but sometimes i think it lasts too long like i had a game rooney scores twice and then he has a blue arrow for about 3 or 4 games and then i dont play him and i drop points and end up 6th in the league

is this affected by the athletic trainer level?
My team is pretty much always in form, also I try to acquire players that have a 5 or above in condition to make sure they're going to be available, I will purchase a player lower than a 5 only if he has great stats if not then forget it, ur gonna have a complete leech in your team without being able to use him for prolonged periods of time... also my athletic trainer level is at 4

Blue arrows are fine for good players. Just start him next time, you won't notice much of a performance drop if any at all. For my best players I even give them a subs appearance on purple arrow and sometimes they make an impact.

Another thing to keep in mind is that arrows never affect player cards/special abilities. So a great player with tons of cards in poor condition can be better than an average player in peak condition with few or no cards.

^ yeah i have sometimes brang rooney on if hes on a blue but sometimes you get so many players in poor you have no choice but to play them
