I'm quite curious has anyone noticed a players stats go up or down yet? So far I haven't seen any player development. Is there any sort of growth graph or notification when a players stats change? How are we supposed to know?

I appreciate any reply

They do go up and down in my ML with inter milan older players stats are dropping an the likes of Mario Icardi is improving :)

Rojo, Jones, Lingard and Januzaj have all increased for me by 4 points or more (overall) and a few others just a point or two.

at some point your coach mentions that someone is 'looking good in training' and if you give them the chance over the next 2-3 games the player in question will show 'remarkable' improvement and increase by at least 4 points.

Other than that you just have to keep your eye on the players to see who has increased/decreased.

Can I ask an additional question about this topic?
In previous iterations of PES, you could see the current development progress when viewed in the 'My Team' menu in the Master League under the 'Squad List' option. The abilities used to have a meter, if that filled up the stat would grow. Have they changed this system? I am asking to anyone who has the game, mine hasn't arrived yet.

I haven't noticed that it seems to be young players develop pretty quickly if you play them often, i loaned a few young players out and they are improving rapidly.

If you go to MY TEAM INFO> SQUAD LIST and use R1 to scroll through the pages of stats it does show the progress of some of the player attributes but only the '2nd' page with 'ATTACKING PROWESS' at the top), it doesn't show the '1st' page stat progress.

I've still not got my head around it properly, it was so much simpler with the player development chart

Lol, its simple. The stats on the first page are derived from the pages that are after it. They just provide a summary (averages and all) so they can be more presentable, you know? 'at a glance stuff'. The actual abilities are from the second page onwards. Allright?

Haha no way, thanks dude! I took a big gap from PES2011 until now so some of the stuff has thrown me off

Do you know roughly when this starts to occur? I'm over 8 matches in and havent heard a peep out of my Coach regarding showing remarkable improvement.

Um, no idea fella. I just played the younger players as much as possible and it randomly popped up with a cut scene after a game mentioning the player looking good etc so I carried on playing them and after a game or two another cut scene happened telling me that they had made remarkable improvement.

All I know is it happened at 4 different stages to 4 different players through my first season.

Next time it happens I'll post a pic to show you

Here's a question about the form stat of players in the ML.
I wonder whether it will develop along with other stats or not?
If so, how?
Does anyone ever experienced a "form" increase?

Follow the below steps
  1. Load your master league save file.
  2. Go to My Team Information -> Squad List
  3. Press R1/RB/E 3 times.
  4. You will see blue bars along with the abilities, only those abilities can increase against which bars are displayed.
I do not think form can increase.

It is a shame though, however, it gives me extra criteria to add when buying players.
It makes it more important to buy players with a high form level in the beginning, since it does not increase.

Its also noteworthy that although the weak foot accuracy and weak foot usage have those blue bars, they may not increase other than when "players shine". I've never seen them increase to this day (4th season in ML).

Do you consider Varane a "young player"? He is by far the best defender in the game, as Sakho is already starting to decline...

btw, I'm back after a few days of study for an exam, so expect more players and news soon
