Wow, the cable they supply with the PS3 is fucking awful.

Makes my TV look shit - a 50' Panny 1080p plasma. The game graphics are blurry as hell and looks pretty bad.

If anyone can assist me with advice on whether to get one or not it is much appreciated.

Sully, I'm afraid I cannot justify spending 300 quid of my wages on a PS3 when I have a 360 already. The plan would be to trade in my 360 to get money off and I also see no reason to have both.

If that's the case I honestly wouldn't go through with it. I much prefer my 360 to my ps3.

For me, personally, I've grew up playing Playstation and it wouldn't feel right playing the likes of GTA, MGS etc. on anything else. I also find the Xbox controller stupidly awkard, but again that's down to preference.

How much do you play online? If online gaming is a big factor then keep the 360. Just remember that things can only get better for the PS3.

Very rarely. I only ever played Pro online and the lag on the newest one is beyond a joke therefore defeating the purpose.

Don't listen to them. Wait until there is another price drop if you really want one. There's no urgency. MGS is overrated anyway. Plus no doubt Microsoft will jump ship in a way and release a Blu-Ray drive to go with your 360. Another point to mention is the exclusive downloadable content for GTA. PS3 doesn't get any. Nup nup.

I might buy one about Christmas when the price has dropped even more but wouldn't even consider it right now.

And the XBox controller is amazing.
