PLAYSTATION EYE owners

I want to create myself and all my friends for BAL mode and for fun..
Can i do that successfully with a PS EYE cam?
Is a good buy?

don't do it it's awful! nowhere near as good as the face editor on Tiger woods, that takes 20 minutes to generate the face and does an amazing job.

Forget the playstation eye (I own it)

Simply upload a photo of your face taken with a regular camera, you will get much better quality and save bucks

I am just saying that it's better and cheaper to import a picture taken with a digital camera.

I got the playstation eye to import my face in PES 2008 an the result was acceptable. I never touched my playstation eye since that day...

Yeah, digital camera is the way to go. If you get the lighting on the photo correct and line up the face properly in game, it'll look great

Yes how do i upload a photo onto PES?

Place your photo onto a flash drive, copy it to your PS3 in your pictures bit on the XMB, go into the game, go to the player who you want the face on, scan face and select the picture from your pics. Line it up and voila

Digital Camera all the way, you can sort out your flash settings and take a decent high quality photo of yourself, the only downside is that you have to Dumb Down the resolution before PES 2009 will accept it.

The Face Importer itself simply isnt good enough, it seems to fuck up the face once you have imported it and makes it all grainy and dodgy. It doesnt look as good as it could do.

So far the only resolution ive got to work is 1024x768 mate.
