Man, I am enjoying fifa 12, every single one before it sucked to be honest but this time around Im sold on the features they have implemented in the game. ITS ACTUALLY FUN mate, have you forgotten what football is about.. Football games do not need to be overly technical to be good, from my experience pes 12 is a peice of rubbish. And you can sit here and defend it, even worship it but Ive jumped ship Im afriad. Its no lie but a fact that pes players are outnumbered, Seabass deserves to be sacked in my opinion.

I was talking about the core gameplay there. Go read techboy's thread. He backed everything out with video evidence. Same stuff that I pointed out in this forum when fifa came out. Fact is that the AI is horrendous in fifa 12 and the cpu stat boosting is incredibly annoying and evident to a point of unrealism.

Pes has it's flaws aswell and I never denied any of it.

AND more importantly, I have made good points! I mentioned the tinkering of f**** game speed. Seriously thats f***** ridiculous man.

But that's irrelevant. I was again referring to the core gameplay. Speed tweaks won't fix that sh!t.

Online is a big part, I never denied it, but a game needs to be complete and online is the all of the game. It's part of it.

Your logic doesn't make any sense: do you think people need to pay a great deal of attention to criticize a simplistic video game? The fact that you mentioned "pen and paper" as if analyzing and criticizing FIFA12 required something else other than playing the game, says it all really.

The difference between you and people who actually understand the game, is that the people who criticize the "dumbest things ever" are not as brain dead as you are when you are playing the game. The fact that you can play Steven Gerrard as GK, you don't require "pen and paper" to notice that, it is the type of flaw that slaps you in the face, the people who actually take the time to literally position Steven Gerrard as GK, are just looking for an official confirmation to validate the stupidity of the game.

If you buy a car, and the car continued slipping every time it goes from 2nd to 3rd gear, would you need to be an expert to notice the flaw? And once you notice the flaw, would you keep quiet or would you criticize the fact that you've been given a faulty car? The video game costs $60 dollars on a yearly basis, if it's not going to improve then EA Sports should not be charging $60 for a minor update. If you see the same old flaws year after year, you should criticize it.

It's pathetic to attack the personal lives of people who you know nothing about, just because you have low standards and are happy to play a dumb video game.

Fifa is very appealing I must say but PES with all the flaws truly offers varied gameplay, so as frustrating as it may get at time, I'm kinda sticking with PES. As fifa gets boring fast!

Which idiot in his right mind would put Stevey G in goals, do you think the developers had time to consider the wa**** out there who would attempt that. Ofcourse it depends on how the code was written any given player can attempt to play GK and obviously he wont be as good as a real GK when playing competitively. Ive already tried it as we speak and can put goals past him at ease...

LOW standards, you must be high on crack mate... the reason I moved on is because Im sick of being fooled by this franchise. To say a highly polished game like fifa is rubbish is a joke. Im trying to say that were not all emo c**** sitting in our room playing the game like loners. The rest of the gaming community DEMAND competition. This game is fucking single player for christs sake. It does NOT evolve! There servers are absolute shyte...

Up till PES 2011, PES 2012 cannot even be purchased in Australia anymore. Konami dont give a sheet about us because they have not even thought to include any servers in Oceania, how stupid is that. Only EUR servers and they are slow as SH**.

Please man, Ive read your posts on 360 control/movements and so on. I dont judge but sounds to me like your intrigued by the mechanics and the fun factor of the world game... the beautiful game is not even in the equation.

Well thats a fair point but I do not want to review both games. Im purely showing you that I believe the overall FUN factor in Fifa is higher... you said the cracks start to show up at a point in time but I cant remember the last time I was addicted to a football game for soooo long.

Heres a picture of pes in my hand for proof, shows how happy I was AT work when I got the game.. stop denying me actually owning the game or I will ignore any future comments, easy

In reality all games including FIFA and PES have weakness... overall you cant deny fifa thats all Im saying.

Mate, don't take it personal, I'm merely talking about a video game, and my intention was to attack the argument that you presented.

If you like FIFA12: cool. But when you come up with arguments like "you must live a miserable life" just because someone decided to take the time to support their argument with actual facts such as video evidence -- that's a pretty pathetic thing to do, you are attacking the person just because the person supported his argument with facts. You are forgetting the very fundamental fact that "better" is completely subjective: I never attacked your argument because you have an opinion, I attacked your argument because you believe that your opinion amounts to an objective medium.

I also think PES12 is too boring to be played, but then again, I also think the same thing about FIFA12. So I have no interest in defending either game, I was merely criticizing what I thought was an offensive argument.

Polite conversation is always welcomed. If you like FIFA12: cool. But why personally attack a person who doesn't agree with your opinion? If you are indeed unbiased, you shouldn't get worked up to the point that you start attacking the person instead of the argument. That's my 2cents on your argument.

Owning the game doesn't mean that you played it long enough. You may not like it, fine, but my point was that you came in here and said that fifa is the king now and pes' glory days are over when the fact is that you didn't even try to see the good side of pes. You simply said that fifa is the winner in every department and that's just wrong in so many ways and then came here making fun of people who actually took the time to review the games with video proof. That's what was wrong.

I do have fifa 12 and if you want you can check my review comparing both games' good sides and bad sides. I wouldn't go in so much detail if I didn't own both games.

FIFA, you are in control of your shots, passes and dribbling. You can alter settings if your not fully satisfied with the freedom

Even if you hate FIFA just download the demo n try the shooting. The weight of the ball is immense. People just slag the game off n say it is for kids! There are many bad things with it but the weight shoots is quality!
