I mean if you were a retailer what would you want from Konami to be able to promote the game in your store and get loads of interest in the product.

well the first thing that comes to my mind would be a big cardbored cut out of the player or players that are going to front the game..oh and a 6month free xbox live account would also be nice. :)

Thats not a bad thought to be honest if I could get the Xbox Live incorporated into a bundle. Wouldn't be for 6 months though! lol

How about free playable demos a month before release? Would this appeal?

hate to say it lads, but there will be minimal coverage of Pro Evo in relation to other games that get released, especiall F*FA! But truth be told, u could have two blokes kissing, and it would still sell by the bucket load. Without getting to technical, marketing raises awareness, and anyone with their head screwed on is aware of Pro Evo. It will be the minimal advertisng campaign, maybe a TV advert, and in football magazines, and it will still outsell most games on the simple fact it is a class game, and keeps people coming back year after year, by releasing a more superior product each year, as opposed to a updated version of the same game!

Konami should make people aware of new licences. People were put off in the past by fake England/France kits, now they're licenced, make sure there's pics on the back of the box.

They should drop leaflets in all the capitals cities of the world that say

LOL nice one, but FIFA is getting better so might bit a little dangerous!

I would try and sponsor any CL games, internationals etc. basicly any game not shown on the beeb and show game highlights of the two teams involved as they go and return from the adverts. just a few seconds, maybe a near miss, save from the keeper etc.

When I went on holiday last year I was watching Spanish TV for a short time and I saw a TV ad for pes5 loads of times. Never saw the same one in England though.
