Konami Top Of The League With Pro Evo 6

This week sees Konami storming in to a commanding lead in the All Formats Top 40 as ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 6’ (PS2, XB360, PC) kicks everyone into touch with the biggest week 1 figure on this chart since the PS2 phenomenon ‘GTA: San Andreas’ way back in November 2004.

Compared to the week 1 of ‘FIFA 07’ five weeks ago, ‘PES 6’ sell-through is almost 23% higher – not bad considering ‘FIFA 07’ launched on 7 formats. ‘PES 6’ on PS2 is slightly under the equivalent PS2 ‘PES 5’ launch for last year (down 14K) but more than makes up for this on Xbox 360, the new de facto standard in terms of highest first week sales for this format, beating the previous record holder (Capcom’s ‘Dead Rising’) by quite a margin.

Don't know if this has been asked about, but how's the advantage in PES6?

There are times in WE9/PES5 where i dribble by a defender, he trips me up but i stay on my feet, and instead of playing advantage the ref would blow the whistle when I clearly could have kept on dribbling forward.

I just wondered if this is improved in PES 6. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Well I'd definetely say the advantages have improved. There is no icon in the top corner to identify the advantage, instead the ref raising both arms as a means to play-on. Quite impressive.

Yeah i'd also definetly say that the advantage rule has improved immensely. CPU players can't run up beside you as you're breaking on the half-way line, stick a boot in concede a useless free kick and not even get a talking to. Good thing too as that was one of the most frustrating features of that game.

i purchased my pes6 this arvo after college and i dont see anythingw rong with it, it plays exactly like we10 but with impovements in animation, its mor efluid and the ball physics isn't as bouncy.
great upgrade in my eyes.
now on to the download patch section

I have just scanned through some posts and had to laugh as I read the same old complaints being levelled at PES 6 as were moaned about long and hard when PES 5 was released. Give it three months when everybody has got used to the more realistic gameplay and NOBODY will be playing a previous version.
And as for the 'scripted' one player complaints - what utter bollocks!!!!!

Saving problem in ML

Hi everybody,

I read number of posts but I do not find any answer to my problem.

In ML, at the end of the first season (division 2 and after cup final), my game is blocking: the screen freezes and I can not continue playing.

Is there anybody who got this sort of problems ?
