Hey Smoki i know your getting asked alot of questions here but could you tell me if your going to update your file for pes 2008 psp version at xmas or am i going to have to buy pes 2009?
working on pes 2009... at present.. may do 2008 in the future... but as the gameplay is arguably better in 2009 probably not likely...
almost done m8... just finalising a few tweaks here n there..

I started a Master League with Aston Villa in divison 1. But ended up quitting it after the January transfer window. Not because I updated or you updated, because I played through the updates.
I quitted it because it wouldn't let me sign anybody. I was able to sign Daniel Sturridge and David Dunn only.
I tried to bring in Steven Defour, Bendtner and Djourou on loan. But couldn't sign my own name let alone a player in the end. Very frustrating to say the least. Any tips?

Nah I didn't quit because of that, I play on top player and ML level of very hard so that it is a challenge.
And I was doing really well, 3rd in the league, only one loss, having beat 2 of the top 4 with Carew on 12 and Agbonlahor on 11 goals.

its all to do with your team appreciation level.. the higher this level the easier it is to sign players..
win things.. galore.. win many games.. and the fans will love you... and players will be falling over themselves to sign for you...

I reckon for the next update, mine or yours, should have the shop containing players that are free agents and players whose club team isn't on the game.
Such as Stephen Carr and Ronaldo.
And players whose club isn't on the game, like Beckham, Rafael Sobis, Riquelme etc.
I don't like the shop having players who have a team already (Ricardo Rocha, Fowler etc.) and random youngsters. I like it better to be able to sign players who I know on a free. I think I speak for a lot of people there.
Also I think you should abandon the Eredivise, but keep a few teams such as PSV, Ajax, AZ, Feyenoord, Twente and NEC. I know this will mess it up if someone does a league in the league mode (where the Eredivise league once was). But in all honesty, people can download other OF's if they want to play a Eredivise.
Then fill in the deleted teams with Bundesliga teams. And also I think re-instating the South American teams here would be good also, as their badges are already on the game, saving an emblem slot. And also pleasing many people.
Then where the Bundesliga teams have been moved, their vacated space could be replaced by English teams for the Master League. But if you go ahead with this, I think you/we should put teams most likely to be promoted like Wolves, Birmingham, Reading etc. We need 8 more to make a British ML (bearing in mind we already have Wolves and Birmingham).
Then this will be easy come the end of the season because the promoted teams would already exist, just require moving. Not sure what the badge capacity is like, maybe you should check, before the plan is thought about. We'd have to get rid of 128 colour emblems.

you cant get the arsenal kit or sporting gijon any better with the current templates..

Very much looking forward to version 2.1 when the ML will be restructured.
Is this possible? (very cool if it is). Thought one can only edit kits, stats etc. And how will the ML change?
Playing BAL at the moment before I get 2.1 for starting my ML.
It really does suck that when you start a ML and then update the option file, the changes don't show in the continuing ML (well that was for 2008 guess it's the same for 2009).

hello Baddar and Don Sweey i know you are watching this thread and i want to tell you sth. my problem with smoki is that he owns a ps2 psp and a max drive , and i have my OF in a max. format on my PC and i asked smoki if he can convert it .... but he didnt reply , then he told me that he will do this in 3-5 days , i was banned for 3 weeks , then i thought he did that but no i was upset because nothing was there , i wanted to tell you this if you could tell smoki or ask smoki if he can convert it , i own the pes 2009 on psp but the pes editor can only edit max. format and i did that i only have pes 2009 on psp and want to play it with my new OF because i put there arabic teams and sth. like this so i dont play the game waiting for smoki to convert it SMOKI if you read that pls convert it

And couldn't for example the white band in arsenal t-shirt be implemented as the nike logo or fly emirates?¿

Also have edited a few players from around the world. These include Vagner Love, Kun Aguero, Luis Fabiano, Arshavin, Danny, Huntelaar and Pogrebnyak.
You have the edited Vagner Love on the version of mine you downloaded, he has custom hair and stats, so don't miss out.

done the database structure... what a pain that was... tweaking loads of kits.. managed to get bolton & stoke much much better.. (well as close as you can get with these templates) and also Sporting de gijon & Osasuna, added emblem for classic england.. and a few other bits n bobs..
also included all your appearances.. & new players.. (so far) (suppose im going to have to copy you re-arranged boots over) re jigged.. arsenal, hull & aston villa stats..
Ive so far figured out with the database structure.. players with A rating earn the highest wage, this is pre set and cannot be changed within the game... So what was happening when these classic players where over written they where overwriting some A rated players hence the high wage for players like Huddlestone... Also If you going to create a new player for from an existing player, only edit from index no 1542 onwards.. as the first 1500 hundred contain the international players and classic players, where the rules tend to differ regarding players wage..
