7oy - I'm trying to install your BLES option file, but am finding it impossible to do so, so I thought I'd ask you where I might be going wrong.

After downloading and unzipping it, I need to create a PS3 folder and a SAVED DATA folder. I do this, and copy your file into them, as is normally done. But when I go to copy the data into THE GAME ( i.e. via the "saved game data utility" ) I press triangle, then "display all ", and it says "there is no saved data". Huh ? I thought pressing triangle was supposed to show them ?

Yet strangely enough, when I try to copy it under PHOTOS ( using the same procedure ), it shows up. Aha ! I thought..... " I'll copy the data into the game via this ". They seem to copy over okay, - however, when I start the game, and go into "edit", all the team's strips, names e.t.c. are still at default i.e. Merseyside Reds and so on. So that avenue* obviously doesn't work either ! ( * Hmmm. I wonder where the copied data went, then ? )

I've tried three different brands of USB's, and the same happens with all of them. The PS3 just doesn't seem to recognise this particular option file. Well not under the standard "saved game data utility", anyway. And yes, I do have all the Konami updates.

I don't have this trouble with other maker's option files, just this one, it appears. Is there something different about your file that may account for this ?

7oy - Thanks for the guide. The only thing I can see that I didn't do according to these instructions, was this part : " In the “SAVEDATA” folder, look for a folder named “BLES01XXXXEOPTION”. Delete it (see last chapter for details). Then return to the folder which contains the “PS3” folder....." ( This bit wasn't required with other maker's option files, so this is new to me. )

It's late here in Australia now, so I will try again, using this method tomorrow. I'll let you know how it went. Maybe other users with the same problem may benefit from this information ( if indeed, it works for me ! ).

you said....download full files 1-4,then update5 with it.
question.....is the full file on page 1? or do i have to
download the files 1,2,3,4,5 seperatly...or do i have
to wait for your full file(maybe you recommend that)

and another question(i hope you know)
i am playing also "become a legend"...
so,when i am going to put the files 1-5(like you said)on my ps3 system
(first i cleared all the first downloaded files on my ps3 system)
are they(files 1-5)then in my allready gamemodus "become a legend"

or do i have to start all over with the game modus "become a legend"

No need to download all updates separately the full file is to counter that it's just I have not update the full file on page 1 to include update 5 hence why you have to install both together if you are only starting to use my option file now as a new user to it.

Your become a legend will not be effected badly by the update.

That's bad. I will have to re-convert everything it seems. For now there is a few working files above with the edit data.

I know pain indeed things can never just go smoothly all the time there's always bumps on the road isn't there.

Anyway I will re-convert all files tomorrow then get stuck into the next version. No weekly updates this month as I explained well in advance but still going to get it out ASAP.

For my next version Liga Postobon will be finished and accessories, tactics, etc updated for lots more clubs.

Also I now have the possibly of replacing Motherwell and Apoel in the other euro section with new teams. I am thinking of taking those two out as they're not even competing in Europe. I'm thinking of adding in Fenerbache and Dinamo Kiev in their place as these are bigger and more popular clubs. No disrespect to Motherwell and Apoel of course but they are!

7oy - Here I am with a report on how I went with the attempted installation after reading the guide you provided me with. Firstly, the file downloaded as a BLES FULL.rar. So I unzipped it with 7zip. Then the folder extracted was one called BLES FULL, but not PS3* , ( *as is shown in the guide's illustration ). Is this normal, or doesn't it matter ?

Regardless, I created a SAVED DATA and a PS3 folder on my ( FAT 32 formatted ) USB anyway, ready for ( eventual ) copying to my PS3.

The next step the guide says to do is to look in the SAVED DATA and delete a folder named “BLES01XXXXEOPTION”. Well I looked, and there is NO FOLDER with that name !

Then it says copy the remaining folders to the USB e.t.c. e.t.c..... But there's no point in doing that, if I haven't deleted that ( non existent ) folder that SHOULD have been there !

What to do now ?

1. Download both the latest full file and update 5
2. Copy update 5's files into the full file replacing anything that it asks you to replace
3. Copy over to your ps3 as you normally would with an option file.

Okay so on your usb you have a ps3 folder and in it a sub folder called savedatat as normal. Copy all my files sich as BLESXXXXXXUNIFORM001, BLESXXXXXXEDIT etc into that subfolder and follow the steps of copying onto your Ps3 as normal. It should really be working then, if it's not I can only guess there's not enough memeory on your ps3 or usb or something, the guide pretty much covers any issue any user has ever had with installing option files :mellow:

It's only necessary should I have accidentally included my system data in my option file folder which I haven't so it's good.
