Different version

hi,
your file looks top notch, but i'm having trouble getting it to start.
i've copied everything onto the PS3 but at the start of the game when it tries to load the edit file, it says unable to load due to it being a different version or something.
any idea what i can do?

Thaks mate...Yh you need to download the 1.20 update, are u connected to the interet? if u have downloaded it, make sure uve downloaded from system settings on PES

Not sure mate...ac2202 who did the original championship OF wants to do another version so i excpect it might be done..ive added the badges and kits so far.

i have broadband but i cant connect my PS3 as i have a 3G data modem.
how do you download the 1.20 update?
can you download it and then transfer it by memory stick or anything?

Im not sure mate, im not really an expert on internet and so on but id assume u could download it from the internet and then download it via usb stick. Sorry i cant help much

Glad u like the OF. Just to add, huge credit to ac2202 who did the original OF, which i tweaked here. Im not working on another update or anything but im willing to if you want and yh il accept any help.

love the option file, but have a question.

I started a ML as Reading. Love that. Get to the end of season from div 2 and got promoted (Top Player). When you start neogotiating for the players on your squad that are expiring, only a few of the players are listed in the "My Team" under negotiations.

For example, Gunnarson is due for a new contract after 1st year, yet it will not let me negotiate with him. So at the end of the transfer window, you lose him.

Then, this is something small. The keeper, Hahneman, is listed as being 22 (he is 33 or so) and he is listed as Belgian (really American). He is also one of the players that the game will not let you negotiate with.

I even tried going to negotiations and searching all players, then putting in alphabetical order. Gunnarson, Kebe, Hahneman, Murty are just a few that I cannot negotiate with. I tried dummy ML and it seems that this is the case with all of the Championship teams.

I started one with Birmingham and the My Team has only about 7 players that you can negotiate with.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Hi mate

Yh im doing exactly the same with Reading and only a few players come up in negotiations, thats because the players that are coming up, have been created as a new player, the ones that dont come up are because they were edited on top of PLAYER A1 etc. Its really annoting i know, im not sure how to fix it.

Yep Hahnemann is 34 and i fixed that now, but you cant change the nationality of him and players that were edited over PLAYER F5 etc. Ive made a few changes on my OF, just appearences so on, ages...so il put that up here.

won't be a problem really, just annoying like you say,

plus, most of the players when I lose them, I really won't miss them. I would have replaced them anyways. Now I have to keep them the length of their contract, unless they accept the base offer on the first few negotiation weeks.

i cant help unfortunetly im not that 'experienced' with OF's and converting them, but there is a PC Championship OF nearly out.

Hi guys, awesome work. Please help me though! I have copied the option file to USB, transfered the data from the USB to Saved Data Utility so all 200 or so files are in there, then load up the game, but then nothing, the teams don't load or anything. I can get the game however to detect the chants and can assign them to the wrong teams etc, it's just getting option file to work i am having trouble with. Please help!!

P.S. I have the US version of the game being played on a UK PS3, i don't no if that makes a difference.
