It's region free. Already confirmed, and already in production as region free. They can't go back on that.

This doesn't really change my opinion on the PS3. I was quite surprised when Sony announced the console would be released in all 3 sectors at the same time. Europe has always been an afterthought and comes 3rd every time.

So how many of you planned to get one on day of release or for Christmas? To be honest I wasn't thinking of getting one until about a year from now anyway. Atleast then the price will have dropped a little...
