already lost the race

I believe sony could possibly have already lost the race, and if they havnt there superiority has taken a huge dent.
if someone had told me 18 months ago i would be having great fun playing on xbox360 with my ps2 gathering dust and ps3 no where in sight i would never of believed it..
i have always said sony will never be beaten
but people want todays games today (xbox360) not todays games tomorrow if you see what i mean
we all know developers gain greater expertise in developing games the longer they work with a machine, so i guess that gives xbox360 about 15 months advantage over sony
its a shame but im afraid ps3 take a sad second in todays console league

$429 dollars should work out at roughly the same price as the Premium X360 at current exchange rates. But i wouldn't be surprised if Sony hike-up the UK price compared to the US.

They just learned that the price is too high, they are enforcing costumers to buy something they dont want, Blueray player, the ps3 without this gizmo should cost like half the price, around 300 dollars, and , they only have less than 10 launch games, wii will have 25 titles available the first day, and x360 is a year ahead in the race, so I believe Sony is in a difficult situation, many other sony's inventions have failed, betamax, minidisc, UMD, and the way things are going, blueray will share the same fate. Remeber Panasonic 3DO? same history again, very few people will pay a high price for a gaming thing.

Strange because Japan is the one place where Sony could sell the PS3 full price and still sell millions. Its Europe and USA that need the price drop - basically anywhere the X360 has a strong foothold.

true there are some good looking games out there for ps3 on show. am not sure what the final price will when we get the ps3 but it must be lower then the original price stated. or they wil not sell many as people can just not afford to pay that much.

In Europe we'll have an advantage, Japan and USA player will tell us about PS3, and then we'll decide having an experience of six months.
