PS3 - Sixaxis

Do you think Konami will integrate the use of the Sixaxis into the PS3's gameplay? Even GTA managed to use it for motorbike steering, but on the other hand, Konami had a PS exclusive with Metal Gear, and to my knowledge there's no use of the Sixaxis.

I can imagine it being used for something like throw-ins, but to be honest it'll be crap - yet to find a good use for it except on Haze to put your self out in a fire.

you use the sixaxis to turn your octocamo back to normal (by shaking the controller) in MGS4...and i agree it would be crap in a footie game

Implementing SIXAXIS into a football game is a waste of time tbh. Only thing I can think of which SIXAXIS could be used, is moving wall during set pieces, and moving the goalie during penalties. I suppose you could take your own throw-in's using SIXAXIS

Personally, I prefer to play football games with my skill using the controller  :D

However, it would be cool to add into a future title, so we can turn it on or off if we want.

I'd like to see it used for set-pieces.

For instance, during corners, the amount of tilt you apply to the controller will determine the angle of which the ball into the box will be played.

FK's are similar, with the tilt being for the direction you want to place the ball. Hold straight for centre, tilt far right to aim for the corner etc.

Throw in's have been mentioned. Tilting forward the controller and then hitting it back to its normal position could determine the distance on a throw in.

Penalties would be the same as FK's I guess, only you could use the Sixaxis to dive with the goalkeeper.

So for me, it does have a place in the game. Not a major place, but something I'd like to see added. It'd be one of those things that give an extra touch of realism to the game.

Back and to the left.
Konami havent even bothered their arses to make use of the vibration function yet so there is no chance of them using sixaxis. besides my controllers spend enough time flying through the air as it is when I play that bloody annoying game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't PES2008 brought out before the DuelShock for the PS3?
