PS3 YLOD and importants informations

Hey guys, i had YLOD on my ps3 and this is very annoying, so what i tink is that may i know any of u guys experienced this and managed to fix them without dismantle ur PS3? as i worried that if i dismantle them, i might done sth. wrong thr.

Bcoz of this YLOD, i have another problem which i wondering any one of ur that encounter YLOD encounter this? it is that whenever i start a game expample PES 2010 or PES 2011 DEMO, when it had not gone till the KONAMI meaning the loading page with just the stars ******* on the btm...my PS3 suddenly auto off and i takes like 1/2 an hour to on my PS3 to play PES!

If any of u guys can fixed either of this, i will be very grateful to ur guys. Thanks here once again. I hope that this problem can be solved b4 the released of PES 2011 as i'm eager to play them with the best option files around but will be unwulling to play if the above 2 mentioned problems keep circuling aroung my PS3!

simple answer really, if you can get your ps3 on at all get all your data backed up, then call sony, if you have had the ps3 for less than a year they will replace it, if you have had it more than a year then they will charge you £131 to replace your console with a reconditioned one, any save data not backed up will be lost,

i recently experienced this and playstation gave me a 160gb phat ps3 for £131 after a few irate calls i also managed to get 12 months warrenty instaed of the standard 3 months

repairing it will just make it work for a short while if at all
