I didn't even realize this was an issue.

I do remember inthe demo the fouls were far more frequent though, but even there it was something you just had to slightly adjust your game to avoid. I agree that now they are too lenient in some ways. Some balance between the two is needed for the next PES IMO.

I'm with Typho2k on this. Sminky's reply left me wondering. There's clearly fewer fouls in the final version. Perhaps even too few now.

Never played the demo but i really dont think there are too many free kicks may be too few.

I didn't play the demo either, but judging the complete game there is just too much referee interference for nothing. Yes sometimes the referee ignore blatant fouls both by me and the cpu which may even out, but that scenario is in the minority.

The refs give fouls that cleary aren't fouls, and don't give fouls when they should. They also give throw-ins to the wrong team, and goal kicks when it's clearly a corner. It's all part of PES I'm afraid.

Is it a minor issue when you make a fair challenge in the box and concede a penalty? Is it a minor issue when you get hacked down in the opponents box and don't get a penalty? No, I didn't think so.
