I picked this game up at the weekend, as did my best mate. HMV had/has a 2 for £30 deal on the go, and we were considering picking up Army of Two so to have an online co-op game at our disposal. But Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was also included in the choices, and as it garnered much more favorable reviews in comparison to Army of Two we switched our focus and forked over the cash for Vegas 2 instead.
I love the realism of the game (when compared to other shooters). And the cover system is sound. I'm not the greatest at it, yet, but I really am enjoying the hell out of it.
We've mostly been playing co-op Terrorist Hunts (with just the 2 man team) on PSN while getting to grips with the gameplay mechanics and the different weapons and armor, not to mention tactics. I've had more than a few cracks of the whip at single player Terrorist Hunts and I've got comfortable controlling the AI teammates, too. We'll probably move on to the co-op Story shortly.
I took it online, again with Terrorist Hunt, and tested the waters with random players on PSN in games with who knows how many allowed to join, but it wasn't great. There was very little teamwork and a whole lot of going off on solo runs, which was great for certain players scores but, it left the actual hunt out in the cold as we failed to complete it, even with numerous attempts.
