Removing the " Speed Merchant " Skill Card, with or against?

This is what I think about speed merchants

-There should be a variety of types - e.g. messi can dribble more efficiently than Krasic, not the same because if you had a team full of differen speed merchants, they'd all dribble the same as in when they turn they all turn 90 degrees accurately wheras some will turn 85, or 84. This is what I mean.

-It should not be consistent so if you tested he degrees a player turns, you would not expect them all to be the same.

-When they turn, depending on their dribble accuracy the ball should be more loose to their feet. If its someone with their D.A. in the high 90's like messi or cr7, I expect them to keep the ball close to them when they turn. When its Fetfatzidis or Elia, I expect them to keep he ball midly close to their feet like this

-Stamina should definitely affect how a player turns overall and theres no need for me to go into things in a bit more depth here as you all should know what this means

If there is one player that deserves that speed merchant card on PES 2012, it can only be Messi

diversity? really? the only diversity i see when i play online is either i play people with 2 speed merchants on the wing or an entire team of speed merchants.

how i see speed merchants is that it offers an easy way out for the less skilled players as it allows them to dribble past people without even thinking too much about it. add that to an over accurate cross and defenders not being able to deal with crosses properly then you have what we see online at the moment, a bunch of idiotic cross spamming speed merchants

I can't play PES2012 simply because of the speed merchant cards. Online play has frankly been ruined by it.

I appreciate there are players who can beat players who use speed merchants, fair play to you, but I alas have not the patience for it. It is repetitious to the point of superfluity.

Yea, they can, but with strongest teams too, also full of speed merchants.

In earlier pes versions, if you were good, it didnt matter what team you use, because it was all about inteligent build-up play, and that skill factor is gone this year.

And notice how noone respects anyone anymore, if you see someone with like 700 rating, you know he's just playing lame as it gets.

Atleast PES 2012 doesn't lag like 2011 and they have been tweaked but some say the tweaking makes them easier to get past players because in some situations they'll do 20 degrees turns instead of 45 so they'll skip past anyone in front of them wheras if they do 45, the person diagonal could have tackled them!

I rarely play online, but I play a lot of BAL and I like the way it affects agility of my CF. I wanted to be better version of Ibra but since I have this card, sky is the limit.

How does having a speed merchant increase diversity in the game!? Everyone just does the same thing with them, each game goes the same way and the same goals are always scored (I only play online).

I don't think i've played more than a handful of people who actually understand how to work the ball in triangles.

this card needs to be removed, it isnt humanly possible to turn 90degrees when sprinting (without stopping first) so it just makes the game unrealistic. also it ruins player individuality, the most life like player on the game is hulk and he doesnt have the speed merchant card which says it all to me

I've gone in and removed out all of the speed merchant cards–along with others– and have improved (if needed) certain stats. I like the game more now, without the merchant card, and doubly so since I've given up playing online. Anyway, although I've owned every PES since 5, I've never edited player stats for more correctness. With this release I've started to; it never occurred to me before to do it.
