RESPONSE issue FIXED

Sweey

*RETIRED*
Why would turning off vertical sync, something used to improve graphical performance, reduce the player response issues which are hard-coded into the demo?

For example, if other aspects don't have a delay, surely such a fix (and it isn't one) would make those mechanics even faster?

I also see no reason why anyone should go to a lower, non-HD resolution to play a game or demo which is supposed to be written to work in those resolutions. That is ridiculous coding, a lack of optimisation and entirely unacceptable.

I hope, as people keep saying, the response issue is fixed in the final version. It'd be nice for the goalkeepers to be fixed too. I took no enjoyment whatsoever from the goals I scored in the demo which clearly isn't a good thing.

I've just done that and I can confirm that the response time is much better when in 480. I hope they fix this issue in HD and the gameplay will be great.

How can they release a demo with such problems?

Ah jeez, how many times?

Because it's Konami, that's what they do. They release shitty demos so that their deluded die hard fans can look forward to how much better the 'real' game will be.

^Ok, ok now. You made your point and even die hard pes fans will agree that Konami didn't make the right decision to release a demo with these kind of problems.
But hopefully they are fixed in HD. If they are, the game is much better than pes 09.:)

I understand what you're saying Shaun, but let's be honest, it SHOULD be better than PES 2009, because that was poor too, Konami HAVEN'T released a good football game on either the 360 or the PS3.

There is no excuse for that.

Come On people, we have Full HDTV LCDs, PS3, XBOX360s, HDMI cables and BIG gamers PCs and we need to decrease the quality to play PES??, that is a shame on Konami, if this is true.

Why COD4, Final Round 4, even FIFA can and PES can not? I need a real High Standard experience with PES... Come On Konami

Whoever mentioned me and said that its because people like me that KONAMI are lay needs to re-read my post....

the game will be OPTIMIZED in the end ( or it should at least ). If anyone has read my recent posts in other threads they will know exactly what I thought of the demo and the response times and the goalkeepers.

I just merely informed people that the game runs much smoother when 480P....

some people are fucking stupid on here

Which causes a lot more questions than answers, surely?

Will it? PES 2008 on PC certainly wasn't optimized at all - the game couldn't run without a workaround on some systems which far exceeded the requirements.

PES2008 was a broken game overall but it worked fine on my xbox360 and only lagged in replays...

Look dude all I am saying is that this is a temporary fix for the DEMO. If this is how the retail version will be ( were you have play in 480P ) that will suck and truly expose konamis laziness.

Idk if you tried it on your Xbox360 or PS3 but it certainly plays a great game of football in 480P...

Thanks for tip, I wish it will be fixed when the game comes up in a month or maybe a downloadable patch to fix that for HD version, it is dissapointing and 'normal' for Konami, we must tell them about that if we want to play a good football game on next year.

I haven't and yes it might work but the point is we shouldn't, even in a demo, have to resort to these measures. That's all I'm getting at.

Its fair enough you're trying to help, that's not in question.

I'm just enjoying the demo in 1080p HD. Yes there is response issues but I personaly think that it will be fixed by the time the game is out :)

Agreed. It has been about 4 years now for next gen consoles. That is plenty of time for KONAMI to get everything optimized and to get familiar with the consoles.

It's been confirmed by those who played it that the response has been fixed so why's all the fuss.
Like proevofan88 said. This is just a fix for the demo to make it play better. The full version will be different I hope. But if the full version has these problems then it'll be all Konami's fault because it'll loose fans.
But that won't be it by the looks of things because it is supposed to have been fixed.

Will anyone try the game at 720P? I think most of us have been running the game at 1080i ( because our systems assume its the best and they automatically pick that one ) because it runs VERY well in 720P.

The response time is still better then 1080i for me. And between 480P and 720P seems a small difference, if any.

Anyone else can confirm this?

Make your XBOX360 or PS3 run in 480P instead of an HD resolution....the game is absolutely magnificent.

For PC users try turning the Vsync off...

tell me if this works for everyone...

btw -- credit goes to CANIGGIA for those of who know his blog.

I justed tested on PS3 and you are 100% right. It is a new game, maybe the PES ever. However, the graphics are like PS2 or PS1. Crossing fingers to have a HD solution for the full game.
