Why would turning off vertical sync, something used to improve graphical performance, reduce the player response issues which are hard-coded into the demo?
For example, if other aspects don't have a delay, surely such a fix (and it isn't one) would make those mechanics even faster?
I also see no reason why anyone should go to a lower, non-HD resolution to play a game or demo which is supposed to be written to work in those resolutions. That is ridiculous coding, a lack of optimisation and entirely unacceptable.
I hope, as people keep saying, the response issue is fixed in the final version. It'd be nice for the goalkeepers to be fixed too. I took no enjoyment whatsoever from the goals I scored in the demo which clearly isn't a good thing.
