I thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread about players who seem to be fairly good in real life but who appear not so good, or just downright rubbish in PES, could avoid some dodgy dealings in the transfer market for the ML.

Three that I've found so far are all from AC Milano on the PS2

Dida - Makes shocking decisions that usually end in a goal for the opposition (reminds me of a certain Massimo Taibi) - scored at least 3 own goals in one season for me.

Gilardino - for want of a better word, this fella is sh*te!

Filippo Inzaghi - seems to be past it, I haven't seen him play lately but surely he's better than this?!

Well for a start, Dida & Gilardino are shite in real life mate, anyway back to my recommendation's of who to stay away from,

Micah Richards (Has yet to complete a match for me as his stamina is terrible)
Tevez (Absolutely wank)
G Rossi (so slow)

I have to back Larsson here...Tevez is good but I don't see how Micah Richards can have low stamina...he's a beast! The other end of the spectrum...how does Totti manage 37 league goals in one season? He's shite!

I find him to be fast, good at scoring goals in the box and with good ball control. He's not the best at shooting outside the box and his passing isnt the best, but i believe he is good in the game.

I agree with Tevez being good on the game. I think Cesc is shit, i just can't play with the lad. Also agree with Micah Richards, although to be fair he weren't on many people's radar as a good player until recently. I just thought he was a "generally good" player, not as good as he is now.

Hmm...Adebayor is pretty dismal on the game.

Can't think of anymore right now, i'm sure there'll be more to moan about though!

To Mod/Admin: Can i change my name? The frame breaking is rather annoying...

I disagree with you as well m8, Adebayor is a brilliant player in the game. Good ball control as well and can scores sooooo many goals, he's my current top scorer!!

haha when i was in a league with my bro he was arsenal and always made a point of how shit adebayor was,but when we looked at the scorers ranking he was his top scorer.

ive made richards better on mine,i havent increased ought except stamina to 85,body balance,accel and top speed in 90s.i think i put his defending down too coz in truth he aint that good at defending but he is that much of an athlete he uses his pace and strenght to make up for it.

stay away from anyone with poor conditioning as they will spend most of the time on your bench with a grey arrow and hleb isnt shite but underrated on it.

I normally dont buy any of the top players, and prefer to get players that are younger so I can train them up. Mind you though I have bought a few Re-born players after they have retired ( Nedved & Maldini ). That way I get the best of both worlds.

Klass Jan Huntelaar (should make his stats similar to Van Nisterlrooy)

Sergio Aguero + Carlos Tevez (They are 10 times better in real life)

Also Fabricio Coloccini (One of the best defender for Argentina and La Liga, but his stats is so shit in game)

Tevez is pretty good imo, he's useful for link up play and can score mostly all his shots that are from close range, one player who becomes rubbish is Ronaldinho, i played a season in ML using him and destroying teams with R gettin hatricks nearly every game but after one season he goes completly cold....cant dribble past players or shoot good....wierd 1
i guess pes designers believed the hype bout him getting worser and worser
goood thing is a brought in Anderson as a ready made replacement.
