Scoring Chips

i found chip quite easy on previous games but this year i have found the power bar to hard to judge when trying to chip the keeper.

i have found a good solution to this.

like with some freekicks i found it much easier to press circle.

to do this however you need to be one on one with the keeper with no other players infront or close to the side of you (otherwise the player will attemp to pass it to them)

this is easy to do as the ball dips perfectly, and even if you not in line with the goal the ball will home in to the centre of the net.

let me know your thoughts

Totally agree with this, like you say , as long as there's nobody else near you, including to the sides, this technique works nearly every time. Scored some great chipped goals & rarely do I do the pathetic chip into the goalies arms anymore.
2 Possible downsides of this though: 1. I find you have to be directly in front of the goal, can't seem to be able to use this technique when shooting from an angle(may just be me) 2. You think your on your own, then you use the said technique & your made to look like a right mug when you suddenly hit the ball to your left or right.

i think if you are at a harsh angle it can be difficult. the only thing to do is practise. if you arent central, but close to being so, they will attempt to bring it towards goal. if you are out wide and 1 on 1 try to get get central if possible.

you can look a mug at times, however, sometimes u provide the perfect square ball to a team mate left with an empty goal.

every1s a winner!!!

It is harder to score chips, but I scored a stunning one on the current game.

If you want to use the cross button to chip while players are either side of you, you can make it happen by changing the passing system under button configuration.
