everytime as the weeks go by, i keep finding more and more ?? marks with this game.

anyone else seen the rainbow flick video? the player keeps doing it over and over, its so unrealistic.

messi's looks good. ronaldos is autracious. not even any power on the thing, i suck in gaol and could have still stopped that. Link us the constant rainbow flick. I thought it looked dodgy in the trailer, as did many other moves and transitions. Now im gonna brace myself for the "they still have 1million animations to add before the release of the final code" arguement. It looks good in parts, stupid and dodgy in others.

also crossing looks really unreal.its like theyve gone for the inside of the boot swerve technique which is right, but it just looks poorly done.

EDIT. NM just youtubed it. apparently its easy to do and anybody must be able to do it coz on one the keepers in the opposition half constantly doing it then gets a shot off at goal. Not only does the animation look dodgy it can be repeated before the ball hits the ground, and from behind, wheras when you do a rainbow flick the ball should be infront of you!

also why is this move even in!you hardly ever see it in a real game of football, they just trying to copy FIFA? Only thing is fifa have it right coz their flair stat makes sure people like goalkeepers cant do such things.

yeah they should atleast make it harder to do, like a longer button/stick combination. Also so you cant do it as often as 2 in a row, and the more you try it in a short space of time the more likely it is to mess up. It wouldnt be as ridiculous if they added that into the game, the same with any skill.

I don't know why Konami likes doing stupid crap like this! Just like all the different objects you could unlock to use for a ball and the dumb costumes! Can they just concentrate and make a good freakn game??? Seriously this goes back and fourth but all they need to do is take PES5 or 5, make it HD, add 360 degrees dribbling and passing and I think you would have a perfect game! That rainbow video really turned me off to the game! thats just garbage!

In my opinion i like having extra features to unlock and mess about with, just to add more fun to the game if you're not feeling too competetive. Like the pes shop in pes 6 where you could buy random items such as an ostrich costume for a player. But i agree that they need to focus more on the more important aspects of the game. But keep in mind that this is only the beta and maybe in the final code they have patched this kind of thing up, someone working on the game must have thought, wait.. this can't be right.

d phoq is this shit bout doing rainbow 2/3 times...that is just horrible,and looks funny to.I agree with dieci,bring back pes 5 engine with updated shit and stop giving us dogballs to play every year

That doesn't look good. However, this is what beta testing is all about. Finding stuff like this and making Konami aware that it needs looking at.

There's a lot of mixed feelings from some people about the MLO beta. I can't say i'm surprised by that. Online multiplayer has never been a strong point of pro evo, so I'm not expecting this year to be too much different. Offline demo is when we'll know for sure. I have to say, I think the gamescom footage that i've seen looks very good so far.

the gameplay in the beta is great really,its a good solid game and 90% of the games ive played are lag free,i didnt make the video to say "im great at tricks", i just showed what can happen if we spam the tricks in it

thank you for pointing that out. i hope konami fixes this BS before they release the game or else itll be a total crap, the same runners from pes2009 will be the same ones doing this endless rainbow tricks over and over.

Konami-Can't they ever do something Right?!

Although the rainbow flicks are horrible....that is not the real problem with the game.

The real problem observed with the game so far is the bystanders who call themselves defenders. NOBODY IS TACKLING!

The defending is the worst I have ever seen on any of the PES. I can guarantee that if not addressed ...this is going to be the biggest problem outside of the crappy online.

UNBELIEVABLE!

^Yes I am still unsure about the defending, however it still looked better to defend than pes 08, 09 and 10. Though I've seen some awesome defending from some gamescom videos. But then again, I've seen bad defending from other videos. I believe that the demo will answer this because there are too many variables to call it in right now. I have to eliminate those variables and the only way I can do that, is to learn how to play the demo and then I'll be able to answer the defending question. It's the safest approach.
