hi, konami brought this feature: when attacking player have a free kick, the defending player can put a defender right in front of the net, since PES2009.

the problem is, real football defenders almost never do that because they find it too dangerous. why is it dangerous? because there will be no offside for the attacking players!

and now in PES2010, they haven't fix it at all.
the defender can still stand in front of the net, and the attacking players still stand in the same line as the defending wall.
they still don't have the advantage of rushing forward before the set-piece-taker takes the FK (because there will be no offside since the defender is standing in front of the net)

hello konami? don't you have a professional football consultant?
i've been playing WE/PES since international superstar soccer in SNES and never miss one serie. some people say FIFA is now better but i'll stick my loyalty and hope to konami :)

they have also not cured the issue of fouls off the ball. this should be a yellow / instant red and would be in real life. not to mention the sand bags on the goals?? when has this ever been used in modern day football.

To be honest, if I wasn't able to put a defender next to the GK, covering more of the net when defending FK's, I'd be unhappy.

There's too many people who go out of their way to master the art of scoring FK's pretty much every time, with the GK unable to stop them going in, so it's nice to be able to stop some of the certain goals from set pieces.

the bug is NOT "the ability to move the defender to the goal line" - it is instead "the attacking players do not move to the extra space made available when the defender moves to the goal line without being offside!!"

another bug I noticed after taking a free kick is the commentary "the attacker found himself in great space to make the shot"....that is simply wrong for a free kick!!

why is that a problem??? its YOUR choice to put the defender there, so dont complain about things you're able to control pls :)
