I'm still as addicted to this Demo as when it first came out, which I think is an immense sign that the gameplay is excellent. The analog controls just give the player a whole new sense of freedom to do tricks, and it's such a good feeling. I really can't wait for the game, so I can properly roam the city and begin grinding benches and kick-flipping stair sets.

I'm still not sure myself, I prefer the pick-up-and-play style of Tony Hawks.

Yeah after playing the Demo I do prefer the Hawk. I guess I just have to play more and adapt and see if I change my mind then.

I don't mind, will create some good debates, and help keep it going.

I'm still playing the Skate demo and still having great fun trying to master and discover new tricks. Does anyone know when the game is released though ? I've seen the 21st September being branded about quite heavily, but now also the 28th September. I don't mind either way really, as waiting a week will give me enough time to complete BioShock so I can just focus on enjoying PES online and Skate.

help needed with SKATE....

im at the last photo shoot with one of the mags n its for the cover.

i have to clear 22 steps in the street plus get somthing like 440 points, ive tried it like 20 times n keep bailing any ideas please on how to get the fecking thing done thanx

Well, in order to land it you need to jump as far away from the steps as possible so that you nearly skim it on the way down, thus being the shortest fall to the ground. But I dont know really.

Well the first main picture of the city is a little misleading, it isnt that big, but its certainly big enough to leave undiscovered areas for you to.. well, discover.

Its a very good game. The X-Games indoor arena is huge, and theres also a few good parks in the city to skate around in, after being unlocked of course. Excellent graphics

dude i hacked at it all day yesterday and i still cant clear those bloody stairs ive tried junmping right at the edge then loads before, i the furthest ive got was 1 step left thought i was gona do it but hit it, i nearly threw it out the window like
