Has anyone returned to this festering pool of pointlessly raging hormones recently?
I dipped a proverbial toe over the weekend and to my dismay, not a lot has changed. There is a FarCry 2 area consisting of a dull train station and, wait for it... an office. Damn thats exiting.
The highlight (if it may be described as such) was the red bull racing area. Many avatars wandering around with "how do I race" speech bubbles. Riveting stuff.
After 10 minutes of searching for someone with a modicum of intellect, I gave up and returned to my duty bound piss-taking.
Positioning myself by a gate infront of a helicopter I announced to all nearby - "tickets please!". Like lemmings at dover they flocked around asking where they could get tickets for the helicopter ride. Innocently *ahem* I advised them to look for a guy dressed in a red bull drinks can in home square. Not since Kev's blowjob dancing have I seen so many avatar's vanish so quickly.
One gentle soul re-appeared moments later to question my integrity. I responded by asking him who was more of a dickhead? The avatar misleading gulliable fools, or the idiot believing that an avatar that looked like a homeless Russel Brand might be sincere.
I hate to say it, but Home does not at present look like being the new hope of the online community.

The Mrs. uses 'Second Life' a lot so when Home was released she had to have a go.
We both agreed it is crap next to Second Life, and to the Home fanboys, yes we do appreciate it is all new and should get better with time...
The thing that made me laugh was that nobody was speaking to each other very much, however put a Female in the mix, The Mrs had an Army of blokes following her. It looked like something out of Benny Hill. There are plenty of Horny blokes on Home.
