I play Kewell on the right and Owen on the left. Why? Well I've noticed that having a left footed striker playing on the right and a right footed striker playing on the left is so much better. It's easier for them to run in towards the goal and the shots are on target more often than not. Same goes with the wingers, when it comes to crossing.
Give it a go.
Well, you're supporting the right club then Mr Houllier
Personally, I prefere to stick to right with right as it is easier to dribble on the outside of the last man and bury opposite bottom corner than try to break through the middle.
For those having trouble with lobs, use the R1 lob most of the time. If you see teh keeper off his line and you are not too close to him (you can be 20-25m out yourself) press and hold :square: 'till the bar is full and then press R1 at the last minute for a sweet chip. They look nice if you turn 90degrees to goal just before you do it, looks very stylish. If you are close to the 'keeper and a bit further in, press :square: only slightly whilst already holding L1. Practise makes perfect
R1 is definately the easiest 'cause you don't have to worry how much of the bar to fill up
