excuse me firstly for saying up until saturday iv'e been playing pes15 on a old sony 22" television and i was really good at this game, But now i have finally upgraded to a 32" HD flatscreen i now find i'm not as good in possession i concede most games and my overall gameplay is not as fun when i could hardly read or see any detail LOL. don't get me wrong the graphics and menu's and everything is alot better in HD but i can see scripting and other fault's which i was unable to see or at least deal with as a player (scripting). perhaps it's going to take some time to get used to this new tech but i don't know.:realmad:

FINALLY Someone else who doesn't like the gameplay in 1080p HD Quality.
I will upload 2x 5 minute games onto YouTube soon with comparisons of gameplay / motions between 480p & 1080p.
I understand some people may say Placebo Effect etc. But there really is a difference. It seems in 480p your actions on the controller are instant on screen. Yet 1080p seems to be a slight delay.

What I do, I change my XBOX 360 TV Settings to 480p, I then select "Standard (4:3)", but I stretch my TV Aspect. The screen will admittedly look stretched but this is what you want. Once you start playing, the angle of the pitch is totally different, the game is faster and feels like a 2nd Generation Gameplay.

I don't know why, but just try it!

Sorry... I posted this reply in the wrong thread a couple of days back...

Here's a video of both 1080p & 480p Footage... Try the different settings for yourself.

Personally, I prefer 480p. It seems faster, more responsive and plainly put... more fun!

^look what happens to the ball at the 1:52-1:55 marks. It changes direction
to get to the keeper. I thought that old man shut the tractor beam off.

Here's a better video... of 1080p & 480p comparison...

http://youtu.be/4rrn49iA_h0

i don't even think i had 480p on the old tv, it wasn't HD, it was simply an old tv where everythingwas blurred like the writing and player names was just about readable but trying to read what players the other guy had in gameplan was near impossible.

BTW im talking about pes2015 and your video is based on pes2013 which i never had problems with, it's still marginally the best IMO justbeating 2015 in overall experience but 15's obviously superior in gameplay and squads.

Screen size is a strange thing. I remember an older pes (2011) i think, played it on a small 20 inch tv, then moved my ps3 downstairs to play on my new 32inch HD, it was so much harder, it felt a lot harder to do almost everything and i got some hidings from the AI.

yeah exactly but when you get used to it then it's a blast to play, even better than before :)

Most hd tv's have a game mode setting in picture settings. I've been playing on a 32" samsung for about five years and its perfect. I know different telly's have different latencies, but it might help.
