Things were so bad two nights ago I swore I was taking a few days away and only played yesterday because a new patch came out. Original? and Berry constantly crash when I'm ANY and on the night in question I tried to play a short through ball ahead of my player. He instead played it 90 degrees to his right - synonymous of what we've had to become used to.
They've broken this so people buy the World Cup game which I'll now likely end up buying anyway - but especially if it includes some version of Club Mode.
Inzaggio did indeed score directly from a corner, however, as it was an utter fluke I think he should be reprimanded for his shit crossing.
The passing has become very, very hit and miss. As you say there's a 180 degree possibility centred on where you aim and of course the obligatory delay on passing the ball until the player has taken at least three poor touches on the ball. Then there's the first touch control... would be excellent and very useful if it actually occurred on my players first touch! Finally, when hitting some free kicks my player is actually crossing the ball instead of shooting, regardless of how shit I may have become I know which buttons are where on the fucking controller.
I believe, but I'm not certain because I got rid of the game by this point, the release of Ultimate Team caused similar issue with the online play of Fifa 09. It would not surprise me if any of this was related to the release of the World Cup game, I would however be surprised if it included a clubs option.
