Since when is having the CPU as ANY a benefit? Correct me if I'm wrong but as a team as a whole we concluded that having someone play ANY was crucial and hence Phatmann or Jonno were playing ANY. Sounds a lot like you're whining like a little bitch to be honest. I can see why you might complain about '6 v 3', despite it being '4 v 3' in the first match and '5 v 3' in the second but citing a CPU ANY is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
While playing each other is fine, the main purpose is to simply get games.
how so? you have the same options, surely its the team mangers discretion

The fact is, we lost two games, the first was an abortion of a game from both sides where a cpu player scored the winning goal. The second was just us being cunt.
It made me appreciate how much I liked having people playing as defensive midfielders (ie bam, bish, red) and helping the defence break up play, as when you have any, you have a maximum of two players going in for tackles at a time (ie the ANY player and teh "press square" defender). There were instances where I was going back to try and help phat but then it left us light up front, so I had to stop.
After that we drew two and won one. Not the best of starts, but I think once we find a new formation that suits 3 players (which I envisage will be the numebr for our side most nights) we'll start making inroads.

It was 6 v 3, Bammers didn't drop out until halfway through the match. The 4 v 3 was a lot closer, we should have at least come out of that with a draw and as Jonno said it was settled by a CPU header. I didn't have a problem with the first game; the second was hardly fair though. I think anyone will admit the numbers were against us and playing with 3 men is very difficult.
CPU ANY defences are generally more difficult to break down than human ANY ones, especially when you only have three players (usually two) attacking them. For example, a CPU defender will generally sit back and not allow you to play the pass, while a human controlled ANY defender will almost certainly commit himself and create more space for the attacker. We have a psychotic ANY who hacks anything that moves and most certainly commits himself, a very different mentality to the CPU, and inevitably opening things up for the other team. The main problem with the CPU as ANY that we agreed upon was not its defending, but its poor distribution.
