@grunkenjoe93 Does deserve respect for his stat making and squad building for classic pes content. Without this past effort of his and others, this work would be a lot more difficult to produce. He has mine but that does not mean I will always agree with him.

Now I'm not going to do what a lot of people tend to do and offer a complement and take it away with something negative. Instead below I will post the original google drive version of Dortmund to appease minds. Also anything negative towards our line ups, I take responsibility and not JeanMarc. Even if I did not input myself. JeanMarc does not have a ps4 so he could only help with providing suggested line ups specific to our concept. I could not be happier with what he gave me.

There are many factors why players are omitted though. Lack of stats being a prime reason but also we were looking for players after the 1960s in general or as recent as possible. (Unless world renowned) We tried to get a balance between expert and amateur classic football fans.

Now this is not for Joe but for everyone in general. Improving line ups is possibly the easiest and least helpful form of suggestions. It is naive to think this improves realism. Details improve realism. Stadium likeness, player likeness, motions, numbers, stats, banners, better kits/images and tactics improve realism. So many different aspects to editing but the majority of suggestions or contributions are for line ups. Nothing else since Rayden77 gave us classic badges. That was the first week I opened this thread.

Not one person who has suggested players to squads has offered player stats or appearances to make things convenient for us.

Guys I am done 100% though. I will edit no more on pes 17 and I will probably not even buy pes 18. There are many ways this file could be improved but I don't have the time for it nor do I think it is worth my time.

First of all, I created the original rosters of the teams, so please guys stop spitting on h777 and ratmundo...

The reason why I didn't include guys like Niepieklo, De Natris and others is simply because nobody has ever heard of them and I don't want to put any obligation to anybody to create faces of the players they've never heard about..

We can see during the last 5-6 years which classic players faces have been created on this site. It's easy to notice nobody has ever done the faces of legends like Dzajic, Simonsen, Dalglish, Van Himst and similar players, so how to expect somebody will have passion and will to create some faces of the guys who played 70-80 years ago they've never heard about and even the decent picture of those players is often not available..

Another thing I want to clear up is the fact for those "smaller" clubs there are no enough stats of the players available, so we had to include some contemporary players who certainly don't deserve a place in the all time selection of the certain club..

Tnx for the attention and I wish you all the best...

Honestly, I don't see any problem with lineups. I'm a Juve fan, and when I saw the Classic Juve team, the first thing that came in my mind was "I'm gonna transfer Davids, Vialli and Baggio to this team once I finally get this game". Not something like "I'm gonna complain to h777 to put Davids, Vialli and Baggio on Classic Juve because the file needs to suit my personal preference to everyone". It will be just sad if these complaints is the difference maker on h777 giving up to continue his work

h777, I'm actually curious to know how you can get classic player stats accurate. For example, sprint speed, dribbling or free kick accuracy from a player that played on the 70s/80s

there are no complaints here ...just a divergence of opinions...everybody has stated their case....no need to stoke fire anymore. Enjoy!

If that's the case, you can consider my post was just another opinion on this subject as well. And thanks for the link, if there is any player missing that I want on my roster, I will get the stats from there

Hey man, I PM'd you. Send me your email. One question. Are you installing classic teams last? This is key.

I'm not actually sure if pesuniverse has actually given the version out that is needed to be compatible. I can't see it... This is disappointing especially considering the file was altered to suit it and that is all that is needed to be done is to make it available for people to download via a link.

If you check the opening post of this thread I've provided links to several stat sites. It's towards the bottom of the post. Most have been converted as the base of many stats are from earlier versions of pes. A time when it was common to have many really highly rated current players. Check pes master for pes 5 stats as examples. That's not the case anymore and when I converted many of the stats it was on pes 16. Ronaldo and Messi were 95 rated in a time when they are more or less still at their peak. Arguably they are up there with pele and maradona as the greatest of all time although I'm not looking a argument. If stats are taken exactly from older games there will be many players rated higher then them two which doesn't make sense too me. This is why they were converted.

Older stats were basically as they are labelled. New stats are not so simple and to get the definition of what each stat is, you can check in edit mode via the help function. This was taken into consideration when stats were converted and I used the same method for every player I did input, if the new version of stats were not available. I do believe this can be improved but it is better the guys who created the original stats too fine tune completely rather then me. Some teams of v2 do not come from me though so I could only do so much without having to re do it all.

I just want to say, complaints are not the reason why I have stopped and won't do again. They don't help but there are many other issues so no one should feel guilt. Too be still doing this at December imo was a failure. It should have been done well before that. I'm all about efficiency. Many hands light work etc. This has not been the case unfortunately. The majority of pes community also don't really want to work together. Like JeanMarc said... Everyone creates the same faces year after year. For me it shows people are only in it for themselves rather then the community. This project from my view was also meant to be a base for others too customise into their own project. The key rule of no duplicates was to maximise variety and so everyone isn't wasting their time doing the same thing. I explained this to people when I asked them..

Pes is dead though, this is why it is better to work together then waste your life creating something on your own. The reward is a thank you and should be enough. When you do not have too spend half your days and only have too contribute a small amount. A thank you feels a lot better and feels a lot more worth while.

All the work in this project is free for others too use in the future. I would ask that the team, contributors, kits and sources are credited though rather then "pes uni guys" as the majority of people who worked on this project are unconnected to pes universe. The list can easily be copied and pasted from the opening post.

Thanks for explaining your method on how you do the stats of players. I like authenticity to their stats to have a feeling I'm really playing with those players, and your method looks good enough. And when I do classic rosters, I also don't like duplicates. When we watch a match between Man.Utd x Real Madrid, we don't see 2 CR7s, so there is no reason to have 2 Zidanes on a Juventus x Real Madrid match

And I completely understand your reasons to not do it anymore. Personally I would never do it because It's so much work. And, in any case, I was planning to stick with PES 2017 for years to come, because It's a pain to redo everything when a new game comes out. So, I will probably use your rosters for a long time. My game is on delivery right now, can't wait to start testing it out

Thanks pal :)

PM me your email address and I will send the compatible option file so you can get things sorted when your game arrives. Same for Shickadmin and anyone else who wants it.

Link for v2 has been added to the second post and squad images have been corrected. Also added a few videos by PesMOTD (well worth a watch) and added links to team member's work.

*Note* the image for the Manchester United squad is not correct according to what is available to download.

Also established a section for anyone else who wants to submit compatible clubs.

Thanks mate :). Enjoy the game until data pack 3 as konami likely to cause us a bit of trouble.

What does the data pack affect mate? And do you think this next one will probably be the last pack/patch for this edition. seems the updates are more trouble than they are worth really.

I would say the next one will be the last. Winter transfers. In our case it could affect Serie B line ups although I hope they do not update these squads. It wouldn't be like Konami not to do all the transfers but with anything you spend effort on you must take pre cautions and actively export teams to safe guard them. The reason for this if you do not do this before an update, you will not be able to do without updating as it is not possible too import or export without being connected to Konami's server. Which in turn could royally balls up teams and without exporting you will have no way back.

Last year we could not export or import. I had to build my option file twice... For data pack 3 I took pre cautions that aren't needed on Pes 17 and there was actually no impact at all lol. Let's hope it is third time lucky again from Konami and they cause no problems.

Also mate I don't normally wander from this thread but I had typed a response to your export thread but this site trolled me and it timed out before I could send. Export is right next too import and what you described is basically the case. If you want it too be compatible with other files you must apply everything after you have installed the full file. This is so images/players do not take the place of others. Each player and image is given individual save points. If two files do not match, this is where problems arise. This is why I suggest to people to export teams without images as well as with images. (Best way to make compatible with other files). But if you apply kits and then remove with correct collars, number style etc it will only be a case for the user to apply the kits and other images with no hassle. Altering the in game kit editor for correct colours is essential, to get dual colour flags and decrease the chance of kit clashes, you apply the base colour and then choose number 70 in kits for the second colour. Default everything else. Only the home kit needs fully altered to match the kit you will use. Additional kits you only have too do the shirt.

Hey People! For all brazillians fans here we have Palmeiras Classic, with players of the Academia, Parmalat etc.

I made this with the PES Universe Classic OF, so it's compatible. I made in some Other Europe Team called Biswerhausen.

I am a fan of Palmeiras, so maybe not everyone agree with the overall, so you can edit as you like in your game, but don't forget to give credits if you wanna use in other place.

The faces i found in the internet of many editors, like Max Buss, TheLeirbag97, JuventusFormidable, Pro evo no1 and others. The players I don't find I choose one of the preset faces and edit a little, what make it not as real as the others.

Anyway, took me a little time and I hope you enjoy. Hugs from the Brazillian League Champions.
