Good afternoon Pesheads,
Today sees matches from the remaining teams in Groups F and Group G where the mighty 3 lions will be hoping for a good start against the Tunisians..
Next up....
Matchday 5, Groups F and G
Matchday 6 will see the Group H nations start their persuit of glory, Japan, Colombia, Senegal and Poland make this one of the most difficult groups to predict. Plus Russia vs Egypt both of which got off to fantastic starts. Not to be missed.

[MENTION=220597]Ratmundo[/MENTION] - no worries mate it’s the very least i could do for what you have created, the things that can be done to this already amazing file is endless and in your hands the future is bright my friend. i think i seen people where still editing pes6 to modern squads, faces and kits up until just a few years ago and here i can see the same possibilities imagine a classic clubs superleague. id say many people here like myself is looking forward more for your update then pes19 even after seeing the new reveal.If you play the file using the tactics that I have created for each team, and use the settings that Donatoson advises everyone to use, I assure you that it will be a very long time before you find it too easy

Thank you for your kind words mate, i see it as the fun part. Ratmundo spends hours researching players, watching grainy black and white footage to get these teams spot on not to mention the time it takes to make the kits, find manager pictures etc. When he sends me a new squad i can't wait to give them a go. Working out their style of play, strong points, weakneses is great fun, plus i have a top wife who doesn't give me any hassle for spending hours playing.
Settings wise, the player emotion option was something i'd never even experimented with before but after turning it off i found thet teams were much more competetive, much more agressive, defenders seem to defend properly launching it into row z when needed whilst up the other end attacking players are ruthless and varied in the way they attempt or score goals. Everybody if free to set up the game as they want as long as they enjoy it thats the main thing although i would say that altering tactics of the teams is something i wouldn't do. Ratmundo has studied each nation and got them set them up to play as they should do.

I have used Ratmundos fantastic spreadsheet which automatically changes group and top scorers making things much more enjoyable and exciting. No doubt he will fill you in on his next update.
Anyway, major taking points from the opening games from the group stages saw Portugal without Cristiano get hammered by neighbours Spain, Germany surrender a 2 goal lead to the Mexicans and Mo Salah in incredible form helping Egypt to an incredible win over the Uruguayans.
More exciting matches to come for sure.... Stay tuned.

some epic games there, maradona dribble and finish was a sight of beauty 5 defenders couldn’t stop him just like real life
great stuff, this world cup version of football is gearing up to be a cracker, as always big credit and thanks for all your dedication and time you spend doing this for the pes community
have to say it’s the most fun iv had in a while playing any football game mate. it’s football simulation at its finest representation. i really am amazed how ratmundo managed to change the game mechanics for the better in many areas. and the settings work a treat. every game fells different and it’s great having to adapt your own playing style more frequently keeping that fresh feel all the time.
id luv to spend more time playing but 2 young kids make it difficult until the weekends the break before the world cup will give me a bit more time thankfully
