The XBOX controller was ergonomic though I had a bit of a hard time with certain keys/buttons. It had it's Pros and Cons. I preferred the XBOX controller S, though it not being as ergonomic as it's predecessor.

I agree the Gamecube controller is sublime to use, I still use them on the Wii for my old Gamecube games and again your second choice is quiet good and would also be mine, I hate the xBox controller, its too bulky with too many buttons being shoved into one small area.

PS2 controllers for me. Never had a GameCube so can't comment.

I would put the XBox 360 controllers in second place.

360 controller has to be the most comfortable controller ever. The trigger buttons and the xbox button are just class.

The best pad for me is the PS2

Mainly through overuse, i'm familiar with the pad

Although i do agree the N64 pad was brilliant for goldeneye

The Gizmondo!

No really, im used to the PS1/PS2 controllers, they are ergomonically pleasing, and all of the buttons are reachable without repositioning my hand on the controller.

The few times i have used an X-Box/Gamecube controller, they have seemed too fat. And the gamecube has an annoying yellow toggle button if i remember correctly, although Gamecube users seem to love this. I guess its what you are used to.

My beloved rumbly PS2 pad will always be no 1.

PS3 is floaty light, but ok once you get used to it.

Wii is just odd. more co-ordination is required, though it's cool once you adjust.

Rotbox 360 contoller is a brick. With the battery pack the thing is heavy as hell. Not sure i like the shoulder buttons either, but that may be as i am so used to PS controllers.

N64 - Centre joysticks are cool. Especially when they are attached to something that looks like it fell out of a 1980's low budget space movie!

Sega Saturn. :erm: lets not go there... plastic poo.

I'd rather my controller was a bit heavy and had something to it as opposed to light and flimsy, much like the PS3's.
